Author has written 4 stories for Harry Potter. Updated 10/04/2019 - (It's been a WHOLE year since I updated this) I am part of the generation that grew up with Harry Potter from the first book to the last movie. And now it's coming back and I'm falling in love with magic all over again. While a lot of people around me tell me it's silly and I need to grow up and experience adulthood, I just say that nothing else has ever made me feel more buoyant. HP was there for me at a very pivotal time in my life when I was young and figuring out who I was inside, just as Harry was. It gave me confidence then, and it continues to lift me up now. When I first started reading HP as a kid (12ish) I wanted to be a Gryffindor more than anything because Harry was. Then I got a little older, entered my twenties and went to college. And I realized I was actually a Hufflepuff, or at least half Hufflepuff. I spent my late twenties doing some serious soul searching and while I discovered that I am a loyal, honest, and patient individual...I'm also very Slytherin. Cunning, determined, and resourceful. I'm also a romantic at heart and have dreams of my own HEA. While I wish it could be with certain fictional (and anime) boys with messy dark and sassy personalities, loving a fictional character doesn't get you very far. So I am satisfied with my fantasies and living vicariously through SSHG or DMHG fanfic. I have always written from my heart and consider myself to be a very creative person. I take HP seriously in so much to reiterate what I said above about growing up with it and having it there in my life. But I love writing, and there is so much to play with in this world. I'm not ashamed of any of the choices I make in my stories and if you don't like what I write, don't read it. I won't hold your opinion against you, but don't flame at me for my choices. You don't know me and I don't know you, and we've all walked different paths in our lives, which I'm sure is where most, if not all, authors draw their inspiration. while I love the support and reviews from readers, flaming can be abusive and it doesn't feel good toward the author, especially when all they are trying to do is share his/her love of a fandom with the rest of us. And you can't fault someone for that. So please, read my stories if you will, enjoy them and tell me what you think. But keep the negativity to yourself. If you don't like it, don't read it. Hufflehugs all around! Proud to be a Slytherpuff! Get to know me a little better! Favorite Book: Dracula (gasp!) - No seriously, this book made me change my major to History in college and I don't regret it. I fell in love with Victorian England and wrote my undergraduate thesis on Feminism. Favorite Band(s): Loaded question because there are so many. Evanescence, Breaking Benjamin, Skillet, 5FDP, Shinedown...I think you see the theme here. And of course favorite performers fall under this as well. Lindsey Stirling, Peter Hollens, David Garrett...Still see the theme? Favorite Show: I don't watch TV. The only time I do is when I'm hanging out with friends and we're perusing the travel channel. There's some seriously cool stuff on there if you don't watch. (Booze Traveler) Favorite Anime: Jeez...where do I even start? Another loaded question. And this wouldn't even be listed here if it wasn't for my wonderful friends who got me into it in the past year. I HAVE BEEN OVER-EXPOSED! (lol, there is no such thing in anime). Ok...gonna have to go with Black Butler. It was my first full length anime that I EVER watched. And my best friend knew exactly what to pick for me. After that gonna have to go with Yuri!!! On Ice. I just watched this a few weeks ago for the first time, and I am OBSESSED. But Black Butler is still my first and my favorite. There's more to it then YoI, and the manga is just beautiful. But I relate so much to Yuri Katsuki that it hurts. His character is very real to me on an emotional level. Not the same way I relate to Hermione Granger, which is more personality and attitude. If you haven't watched Yuri!!! On Ice, you should. It's beautiful and pure and if you're a fangirl (or boy) of anything, you will fall in love with this anime. Favorite Move: I don't have one. But my go-to when I'm feeling down or not well is The Holiday.
