 C'sMelody chapter 4 . 7/29/2019 I really like the way you write Strike and Robin. Not just in this, as I think I've made clear with my other reviews to your stories, but this one was so nice to read. I loved the 'revelation' moment, and that even afterwards Strike was insecure about it, and how Robin assured him. And then the other way around when they were getting into it and Strike was so sweet to her. It just put in stark contrast Robin's relationship with Matthew (I mean, not that we needed any more reasons to hate that prick's guts after book 4, but still). I also really like how you got the whole thing to happen. It didn't feel forced to have Robin come along, like a lot of fics do. Didn't seem just a plot device, which in a way of course it was, but it was well done and I appreciate that. :) Also, Sarah is as irritating and obnoxious as I remember her, so kudos to you. |
