 Author has written 6 stories for Hardy Boys/Nancy Drew. Hi there. My name is Emma, you can call me Em, Emi or just Emma, anything works just fine for me. I'm a saucy redhead, theater/acting is one of my favorite activities right net to writing stories and I have a fondness for salty foods, especially pickles. I decided to join Fanfiction because at a young age I started writing my own stuff and got to a point where I really wanted to share my writing with others, I also love reading stories. Mystery is one of my favorite things to write since I love suspense and as corny as this is going to sound, I really enjoy coming up with something angsty or romantic just because in my opinion that sort of thing is fun to write. Just one thing I want to ask of those who review, I absolutely love it when readers give me feedback/ideas and I am always open to constructive criticism but all I ask is that you are respectful when doing so along with keeping the flames to a minimum if anything, I'm only human and I don't intentionally make mistakes with my writing. Favorite ways/elements in writing: Mystery/suspense is something I got into when I was young(more than likely because I watched a bunch of Scooby-Doo), I love creating a spooky atmosphere and even more so, suspense is just a thrill in my opinion. To me when things are a little less than great, it's always nice to ease off the serious side of things and lighten the mood with some much needed humor. Please note, I have a slight enjoyment for morbid humor at times. I love reading and writing angst, one of the reasons being I like to remind people that these characters still have feelings and it's a way of showing how they cope with something bad that has happened around them. I also think it's fun to explore different ways to write angst. I usually don't like anything that boarders too much on the mushy side but I do really like to explore chemistry between two characters whether that connection they have will lead somewhere or not. Family is, for a variety of reasons extremely important to me and I think it's important to display those family moments between characters every now and then. It's also important to show that not everyone has a picture perfect family, that they have their disagreements from time to time, it would be unrealistic if that weren't true. Not every character relationship needs to be one of romance, you can have two characters of any gender and have them be very close without there being any sexual attraction. That's mainly what I like about writing friendship, it can be a bond like one of siblings or a parent/child bond.A few facts about me:
