About me:

I am not new to FanFiction. I have been reading the wonderful stories on here for years and I even wrote a few myself. This is just a second account I made to get away from embarrassing Twilight fics I wrote in my confused youth.

I don't write as much as I used to. But I promise I will not leave my stories hanging EVER.

My Star Wars Obsession:

The first time I watched Star Wars, I was fairly young. Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith had recently come out and my dad was watching it on HBO. I only watched half of it, from the point of the Jedi Purges and later. It ended at such a cliffhanger that I asked my dad when the next movie would come out and he explained to me that it was technically the last one and I would have to start with the fourth episode. Weird I know. So I decided to watch both of the entire trilogies from then. I thought they were great movies but nothing else more. My "obsession" hadn't lasted long and many years went by. Then, maybe I was in eighth grade, a strange voice in my head told me to watch Star Wars again. Maybe it was Jesus. Maybe it was Satan. Maybe I'm non-religious. I watched the entire prequel trilogy and realized I was obsessed with Anakin Skywalker. I came to FanFiction and refused to read anything that included Darth Vader in it. After a month or so, I had to admit to myself that Anakin had truly succumbed to the Dark Side and thus I began to watch the classical trilogy and I re-loved it as well. To be honest, the classical trilogy was more well organized and had better plot to them. Even the dialogue is better. I really liked to read stories of Vader being redeemed.

I can't really agree with the expanded universe, though. That is a problem I have. I don't like the fact that Luke is banished or whatever and nobody knows when he dies. It's just...stupid. I would rather he was killed in a heroic fight than be banished from a republic he helped to create.

I may include Mara Jade in some of my stories. But that doesn't mean I have read the Expanded Universe. I read about her on Wookieepedia and I just loved her character, so I may include her. Sorry if I don't depict her correctly as she was in the books.

If you read my story The Apprentice, you might also notice that I like politics. Some TV shows that have had a happy influence on my life include The Daily Show with Jon Stewart. I'm sorry if my satire(?) or politics ever distracts you from the point of this story, which is ultimately Luke Skywalker's quest to differentiate right from wrong... but for those of you who liked the prequels, you will know that politics is very important in the Star Wars game. Yes, "The Apprentice" has some blunt politics hidden underneath and it seems to have delivered a message that socialism = bad, evil Sith Lords. This is not my true belief. I don't actually believe socialism is evil, in fact the country that I live in (the good ole USA) has a lot of "socialist" programs incorporated in our government (no matter how hard fiscal conservatives try to deny it). I think the negative connotation also stems from the fact that people think socialism is communism...this is also not true nor my belief. The point of my rant here is to tell you that I am not trying to instigate anti-socialism sentiments in you when you read my story. Yes, there may be some other messages that I'm trying to convey, but pro-capitalist anti-socialism is NOT one of them. (Example: Hitler tried using socialism to draw in supporters because socialism was a popular trend in Europe at the time, that is exactly what my fictional villain has done in my story as well. The evils of Nazism had little to do with the economic structures of socialism, same goes for my story.)

Star Wars isn't the only thing I'm obsessed with...

Do I even have to mention Harry Potter or is that like a given?

Music is music to my ears. 2007 was good. I am guilty of spending most of my time listening to movie soundtracks. Lyrics from a song usually distract me from what I'm thinking about. For "The Apprentice" the following song inspirations for each chapter are as follows:

I plan to write some new fanfics for this site. So far I only have three. My first one is called "The Apprentice" which is set in an alternate universe where Anakin defeats Palpatine and so the Jedi Council allows Anakin to stay in the Order and keep his family. However his three year-old son, Luke, is kidnapped by the new Dark Lord of the Sith. Ten years later, Luke runs away to Coruscant and is found by Anakin who then realizes that Luke is his son. The story chronicles Luke's life trying to assimilate to the Jedi (as he is a very dark character). My other fanfic is a simple one-shot that depicts how I imagine Anakin and Padme had thought over baby names. My latest one is about Anakin and Padme if he decided to kill Palpatine instead of Windu.

I also think I want to start a fic about Anakin and Padme in an alternate universe, if they had met AFTER Ani became a Sith Lord... I think it's going to be a little (or a lot) more mature in content than all my other stuff. So let me know what you think about such an idea... if anyone actually reads all this prattle in the first place.

If you actually took the time to read all of that then wow. That must have been exhausting.

I like the anonymity of the internet because then I can say what's really on my mind.
