Harry sat at the dinner table in the TAB across from his wife with Asajj to his right. Blaze was at his feet. In this rare occasion all three of them were in their black JedI robes and not wearing their armor.

"This hand tossed pasta with clam sauce is really good dad." Asajj said.

"It's the same one I made when I proposed to your mother. I figured a special occasion merited a special meal. It's not every day that we end a galactic war." Harry said.

There was a knock on the door and Pak walked into the TAB.

"Sorry to disturb your dinner Sir but we are at the staging ground." He said bowing to Asajj.

"Think nothing of it Pak. I'll be out in a minute." She said standing up. She waved at her plate and turned it into a bowl, she took the fork and walked out with Saber following her.

"If I ever needed a sign that I'm not needed here anymore that was it." Harry said smiling at his confident daughter's retreating back.

"She's the leader you made her." Luminara said.

"I know, and I'm extremely proud. But it means she doesn't need us." He said looking at her empty chair.

"No matter how capable she is she will always need her daddy." She said laughing.

"Good." Harry said smiling at his wife.

"Hey look who I found." Asajj said walking in with Yoda, and Mace.

"Master. Mace." Harry said standing up and making two more plates.

"Can you believe we're standing at the end of the war?" Mace asked taking a seat at the table.

"So soon the end approached, but long has it been over due." Yoda said sagely.

"I'm shocked we lost so few JedI." Mace said.

"I'm not. My little girl is a genius." Harry said setting the two plates down in front of them.

"Dad!" She said shaking her head.

"The truth he speaks." Yoda said patting her hand from his spot next to her.

"Thanks grandpa." She said.

Pak came in leading Obi.

"Hello brother." Harry said pulling him into a one armed hug.

"Did you cook?" He asked sniffing the air as Pak turned to leave.

"Wait Pak. Stay for dinner. I have something important." Asajj said.

"Yes sir." He said sitting at the table.

"What's going on dear?" Luminara asked.

"Well, we're at the end of the war. We out number our enemy two to one and they have no defense that can stop us. As is stands I'm declaring victory right now. As we stand victorious it's time for me to honor my Generals." She said standing up and walking out of the TAB. She came back in a few seconds later with a small trunk. She set it on the counter and expanded it.

"To My Grandfather." She said pulling a red wood box out and handed it to him. "I believe you made this a long time ago." She said handing him the box. Inside the box was Dooku's lightsaber.

"Green the color of the blade once was." He said sadly.

"To the council, we found these in Sidius' rooms back in 500 Republica place." She said handing him a small black chest. Inside the chest was a few old tomes and a Sith Holocron.

"Is this real?" He asked lifting the glowing red pyramid shaped box.

"As far as I can tell it is." Harry said.

"To Pak, my first officer. I give you this." She said handing him a long red wood box with a envelope on top. Inside was a gold handled cavalry saber and the note was his new commission as her first officer of the new Jedi Peacekeeping Armada.

"This is beautiful Sir. Thank you." He said holding the letter in his hand as he looked at the sword with a dragon on the handle.

"You've more than earned it Pak. You've been my rock this whole war and the men trust you as much as they trust me." She said patting him on the back.

"What do I get?" Obi asked sitting up in his chair.

"You get this." she said handing him a smaller red wood box with a envelope on the lid. Inside the box was a pair of gold 1911s like hers and her dad's. In the envelope was his and Siri's commission papers for the War hawk as the captain and first officers. "I hope you and Aunt Siri are willing to keep the Hawk flying. The Armada needs a second flagship." She said.

"We would be honored kid. Come here." He said pulling her into a big hug.

"I knew I could count on you two." She said laughing.

"Next up is mom. I had Aunt Talia make this with some help from a few Slicers." She said handing her Luminara a garment box. In the box was a corset vest made of what looked like spun silver on top of black dragon hide. "It's Spun platinum with a high tungsten level, and besides looking nice it's pretty much indestructible. If you're going to be standing next to dad for the rest of time then you're going to need to wear something with a high level of protection. The Slicers have hit it with everything they had up to a rail gun rod and it's stopped all of it. It's labor intensive to make and a bit flashy but you're looking at the future of the Sentinel body armor." She said.

"It's beautiful sweetie." She said hugging Asajj.

"Well dad is indestructible, you're not, and if you plan on being with him you need all the protection you can get." She said laughing.

"You're joking but I want the next vest that comes off the production line. I might be able to regenerate but it still hurts like hell." Harry said looking at the shiny armor.

"Deal. Now for your gift." She said putting two boxes on the table. She expanded them and they grew five times in size to about a foot wide, three foot long and a half a foot tall. He opened the first long box and found eleven Lightsabers. Most of them were black in color and he recognized a few of them.

"This saber is Yano's." Harry said picking it up and igniting the red blade.

"They are the Sith apprentice sabers. The temple got Palpatine's saber, and master Yoda got the saber he made for Dooku. I thought you would like to hold on to these." She said standing behind him.

"They are a both a record of the war we fought and a sad reminder of the lost souls we faced." He said placing the saber back in it's green velvet space.

"I thought this would be a good thing to display at the Shadow school. Show the students what the proud but sad burden the title Shadow carries." She said.

"Good idea." He said closing the lid and re-shrinking it. "What's in the other box?" he asked opening the two latches and lifting the lid. In the case was a Beretta gold pigeon over and under 20 gage shotgun. The gun was in two pieces and when he snapped it together he had a big smile on his face. "Ted has one of these. He used to take me clay pigeon shooting when I was a boy. It was the nicest gun I ever fired and the gun that got me started collecting." He said.

"I know all that. Where do you think I got it from?" Asajj said with a smile.

"Ted bought this for me? Wait, you talked to him and he came here?" Harry asked.

"Sure. I talk to Gran all the time. She comes over to visit when she get's the time. Usually we have tea in my state room. I told her I wanted to get you something nice for the end of the war and she told granddad Ted. He said the same thing you said, I gave him some gold and he got you a mint condition gold pigeon. He said he wanted to go skeet shooting again. I told him we have all that land on Naboo so I had the workers put in a range out back. Ted's going to come over in three weeks and help you test out the range." She said smiling at the big grin on her dad's face.

"You know I love you right?" He said standing up and hugging her.

"I know. Best daughter ever. I just hope I'm not setting the bar too high for Barriss." She said laughing.

"You've set the bar impossibly high, but she's a hard worker." He said kissing her on the top of the head, and making her blush.

"Good. Now lets go end this war." She said pulling away and standing tall. She adjusted her jacket and she was a commander again.

"I'll go give the order to prep the assault." Pak said walking out of the TAB ahead of her and the rest of the group.

"Thanks Pak." She said leading the group out of the TAB and into her state room.

"Do you want me to run the scout ships?" Harry asked.

"No dad. Just let the Sentinels handle this one. They pushed with everything they had and they won this war, they should finish it." She said.

"So I just sit on the bridge and watch the end of the war?" Harry asked.

"Hey! Sitting on the bridge of this ship is a lot harder than it looks." She said making the group laugh.

"That's not what I meant." He said with a smirk.

"I know, but the Sentinels want to do this one. No Shadow help." She said.

"Commander on the Bridge!" Pak called out and the bridge crew all stood up to salute her.

"As you were Sentinels. How are we looking Pak?" She asked taking a seat in her chair. Saber hopped up on her lap and jumped up to sit on her shoulder.

"The scouting party is waiting for your go order Sir." He said.

"Good. Give the order. Also have the Commanders of the other ships escorted back to their ships." She said.

"Yes sir." Pak called out.

"This is where I leave you. I'm headed over to the Eagle." Luminara said.

"Permission to fly the attack?" Harry asked.

"Denied. Sit you're but down." Asajj said waving a chair next to her. This made the bridge crew laugh.

"Fine. I'll sit on my ass." Harry said flopping into the chair. "Hey did you make this chair shorter than your's?" He asked looking up at his daughter.

"I did. I'm the commander of this ship. Blaze, keep him in his seat." She said and the big black dog plopped himself on Harry's boots and put his big head in his lap.

"You take orders from her too? You're my dog." Harry said looking at the big wolf. Blaze looked up at him and shrugged. "I know she's very authoritative but you're my dog." Harry said laughing.

"He knows who's in charge of this ship. You're a good dog Blaze." She said reaching down and patting him on the head.

"Sir our scout ships are approaching." Pak said.

"Good. As soon as you can I want a full map of the playing field on my viewer." She said.

"The map is coming in now Sir." Pak said walking to the map viewer in the back of the bridge. Asajj got up to look too.

"Can I look?" Harry asked.

"No." Asajj said before looking at the hologram of the planet came on the screen. "It looks like they are going with a full patrol. I count five command ships and a huge swarm of vulture droids. Here's what I want. I want our three Druma ships to drop out of hyperspace right in front of these big command ships. I want to launch our ESTs and our Reapers. I want those ships to dive for the planet. When they clear the swarm of vultures I want out Drumas to open fire on the Command ships and then start in on the vultures. By the time they figure out what's going on the ESTs will have most of the infrastructure on the surface of the planet down. When the last command center goes down those droids will just circle the planet, making them easy targets for the Drumas and the Ests." She said.

"Good plan sir. I'll relay the commands to the other ships." Pak said.

"Full aerial domination?" Harry asked from his seat.

"That's what I'm going for. I plan on hitting that planet with everything we have until they beg us to stop. This is the end of the trade federation." She said.

"Good. We can use their trade routes and their purse worlds." Harry said.

"You said the same thing in a meeting with the council. It's how I plotted this out." She said watching her crew rushing around passing orders.

"You really don't need me any more do you?" Harry asked taking her hand.

"You know that will never happen, but in this job, in this setting, no, I don't need you. I think after running a war from this seat I can do this job without needing to hold my daddy's hand." She said smiling at their linked hands.

"I suppose you're right. Of course I'm torn by that thought. I'm proud of you. But sad that you're not a little girl anymore." He said.

"No, I'm not a little girl, but outside of this bridge I'm not confident enough to consider myself an adult just yet." She said.

"Good. It's how every young Shadow should feel. It means you have enough confidence to venture out into the mean, and dark galaxy, but not enough to do something stupid and get killed." He said with a smirk.

"But you didn't feel that way did you?" She asked.

"No, but then I wasn't a Padawan tasked with the safety and care of the whole galaxy." He said laughing.

"True." She said laughing too.

"Sir all ships are standing by and waiting for your order." Pak said.

"Tell them to do one final check and when we get an all good from everyone then give the order Pak. I want to make sure everyone is on the same page. A full scale invasion like this needs to work as one strike. If we show up at the wrong time or our radar system is down we'll end up crashing into each other and giving away our position." She said.

"Yes sir. I'll give a hold and check order." Pak said waving at two communication officers.

"Being caution?" Harry asked.

"This could be the end or it could be the start of a long drawn out battle that would cost us half the fleet. Ten minutes for a check could decide our fate." She said.

"Very good Commander." He said nodding his head.

"Concern for the men and women under my charge is a good motivator." She said watching her bridge crew work.

"All ships report they are ready to go sir." Pak said with a smile.

"Very good Pak. Bring up the com link." She said standing up.

"Com open Sir." Pak said hitting a few buttons.

"Sentinels, we have come to the end of this war. The only thing standing between us and going home is this battle. The trade federation has been the boot on many poor and war torn planet's throats. Their droid army has cost our Republic so much and now it's our chance to make them pay the balance. We hit them hard, we hit them fast, and we keep hitting them until they beg us to stop!" She said and she heard a resounding cheer. "To our pilots, you have your orders. You have your maps. Our intel was good all the way up to six months ago. Locate your targets and take them out. Then do a sweep. Any pocket of droids you find, take them out! To our gunners. The swarm is going to run attack formations the second we hit the command ships. Use that to your advantage and concentrate your fire on the formations! Sentinels, May the Force be with you! GO!" She called out.

She dropped into her chair and all the ships dropped into hyperspace. A few seconds later and they fell out again very close to the planet. Harry got his first look at the swarm of droids.

"Wow, do you think they know we're coming or what." He said looking shocked.

"They know we're coming, the sad part about it is they can't do a fucking thing about it." She said looking at the planet with cold eyes as a stream of cloaked ships, that were highlighted on the window thanks to the magical hud, blasted through the swarm and penetrated the planet.

"You know this would be a prime time for me to head down and help out." Harry said watching as the capital ships opened fire on the command ships and tore them to shreds.

"Pak, have the EST start bombardment, and have the Silver Hawks gunners move in closer to support the two marauder class ships. Also have the cook send up a tea service so my father has something to do with his hands." Asajj said ignoring him altogether.

"Come on. They are having all the fun. This is why I made Blaze in the first place." Harry complained as a cook brought a silver tea service in and set it on a conjured table. "You really had the kitchen bring up tea?" Harry asked shocked.

"I did. It gives the cooks something to do instead of watching the fight through the windows. Also the kitchen staff makes a good cuppa." She said handing him a cup of tea.

"Hmm, is this temple blend? And are those my mother's chocolate cookies?" He asked.

"They are. Would you like some?" She asked with a smile.

"You brass get all the good stuff." Harry said.

"Brass!? You're second in command." She said.

"Good point. I could have been living it up like this the whole war?" He asked.

"Perks of Command." Pak said with a smile.

"Pak inform the Eagle they need to move back a bit they are drifting into a debris field. Also I want a full report on our fighters in ten minutes." She said sitting back with her cup and her cat in her lap.

Outside the battle was raging but it was very one sided. It was obvious the Trade Federation knew the attack force was coming. They prepped for battle. Cities were cleared out. Heavy artillery was set up on roof tops. Droid battalions were set up in the streets and tanks were parked around the valuable targets like the capitol building. But the Sentinels were very good at their jobs by now. The war had sharpened their already deadly skills. The EST pilots were buzzing around the planet hitting every droid post and military instillation they could see. The capital ships kept up a steady stream of concentrated fire that decimated the swarm. Harry sat back and watched the destruction of a once too powerful nation in mild shock.

"It's shocking isn't it? How efficient they are at causing full scale destruction? The attack force could never go back to being regular Jedi again. Not after this war. They need the peacekeeping force to cool off. To find their calm, and be Jedi again." She said softly.

"I see that now. We made them aggressive." He said.

"It's what we needed. Now we can slow them back down and make them Investigators, Slicers, and even a few of them Shadows." She said.

"Sir we have our first report from the ESTs. They report a ten percent destruction of the military infrastructure. We lost two ESTs but we recovered the pilots and the destroyed ships." Pak said reading off a datapad.

"Tell half the EST squadrons to come back to the ships for reloading and do rotating shifts. Tell them to slow down Pak. We don't want to lose anyone doing this raid." She said taking a sip from her cup.

"Yes Sir. I think Silver squadron can return to the Hawk. They are down two ships." He said.

"Both of the downed ESTs came from the Silver squadron? Tell my uncle this poor performance by his pilots will reflect poorly on him and his ship." She said with a smirk.

"I will be sure to mention that to Commander Kenobi." Pak said laughing.

"Giving your uncle a hard time?" Harry asked.

"I have to. If I stop then he'll complain I'm going easy on him." She said.

"I can see that happening. Still, ten percent in a little under a half hour and only two downed ships? Not bad at all. Of course I could improve those numbers…" Harry said.

"You can't go. You're sitting out the fight. You're not needed. The Sentinels need to know they can do this on their own." She said.

"Fine. But this is boring." He said munching on a cookie.

"Too bad. Pak tell the Silver Hawk to shift around to the left a little more the swarm is thinning and they're going to collect to the left." She said watching the battle through the big front window.

For the next five hours they watched the battle from the window and Harry hated every minute of it but he was proud of his daughter and the Sentinels. They took down three quarters of the military infrastructure and all of the vulture droids. That's when the call came.

"Sir, the trade federation is calling. They want to talk terms." Pak said.

"Unless the terms they want to talk about are their unconditional surrender then tell them the raid keeps going. They evacuated their cities, and filled them with droids. They blanketed the sky with vulture droids. They wanted a fight and we are giving it to them. How many time have they parked a command ship by a planet and invaded it with their droids. Innocent worlds with cities full of innocent people. When they have nothing. When we send a team into the capital building and drag them out into the streets and they beg us not to kill them, that's when we can talk." She said without looking up from the book she took from her room.

Harry looked at the book and saw dates and numbers. Putting two and two together he figured out what the book was. "Is that?" He asked pointing to the book.

"Yes, and this ends here. After today we are going to be the only power in the galaxy and I intend to keep it that way." She said running her hand over the book.

"Can I lead the ground team?" Harry asked breaking the tension on the bridge.

"Fine! You can go, but you let your Shadow hopefuls lead and Hunter and his team do their jobs. You hang back and be my representative. You can make them surrender." She said laughing.

"Good, did you hear that boy? We get to play too." Harry said with a cold smile.

"Sir, Gold squadron estimates they planetary defenses are down to twenty percent." Pak said.

"Good. Have them clear a landing zone in front of the capitol. Ground Commander Potter will supervise the landing party. I want Black squadron to lead the Black Hawk down and fly formations over the capital uncloaked. It's time we show them what they were facing. Also send out silver squadron to help Gold squadron finish the job. I want every tank, artillery cannon, and droid scrapped. I don't care if you have to bring down every building in every city to do it." She said holding the book close to her chest.

"If you will excuse me Commander, I have a landing party to assemble." Harry said standing up.

"Remember, full surrender. If the leader of Parliament doesn't want that the next person in line might be easier to deal with." She said coldly.

"Understood Sir." He said with a cold smile.

"Sir, Masters Yoda and Windu would like to also accompany the ground team." Pak said.

"Hold them back for ten minutes. Let the ground team secure the landing zone. Then have a pair of Black Squadron Reapers come back up and escort them down." She said.

"Yes Sir." He said. Before he could turn around he stopped and looked at the door to the bridge. "Sir. You're grandmother is here." He said.

"WHat!" She said standing up and turning to the door. Andy was standing in the doorway dressed in her casual clothes. "Gran! Why didn't you tell me you were coming?" She asked.

"Your father called me on the gem and told me the good news. The war is over." She said hugging her granddaughter.

"Well not just yet. We need to send in a ground unit to make them sign an unconditional surrender but, dad should have that done soon." She said.

"Good, this war has kept me on edge. I'll sleep better at night knowing you're not fighting any more battles." Andy said sitting in the chair Harry was sitting in.

"Well, I'm not totally out of the woods. We still have a lot of work to do. We have to police the Galaxy. This war caused a lot of problems and now we have fix them. The Galaxy is hurting and weak. We need to go around and help it." She said holding the book to her chest.

"Are you going to put that book down?" Andy asked.

"No. But I am going to put it on my desk. Would you like some dinner?" She asked standing up.

"I can eat." Andy said holding the tall thin girl around her shoulders.

"Pak, rotate out the bridge crew when you get a chance and let them eat. This war is over. I'll be back in an hour to supervise clean up and withdraw." Asajj said walking off the bridge.

"Yes Sir!" He said and the bridge crew stood up as she walked away.

Down on the planet Harry landed the Black Hawk and walked to the cargo hold where Hunter was preparing his men with Dula Nubin, Bant, and Caid Tewas.

"We ready for this?" He asked pulling his Saber and his 1911.

"Yes Boss, but the order was for these three to lead." Hunter said with a smirk.

"What the Commander doesn't right?" Harry said.

"I don't think so Boss. The Commander can be… scary." Hunter said and the rest of the group nodded.

"Fine. Run along and have all the fun." Harry said holstering his gun.

"Lets do this. I'll take point I want you two behind me. We're going to run cover pairs to the building and set up a perimeter. Then we need to hit that entrance and see what they have waiting for us." Bant said.

"On your word Sir." Hunter said pulling his guns.

"Let's do this." Bant was pulling her saber and gun.

They opened the cargo door and the three Shadow hopefuls ran out first and scanned the square. It was full of destroyed droids, blown up tanks, and huge chunks of rubble. She force pushed the rubble and droid parts away to clear a path to the building.

"Cover two. Scan high and low." She said moving forward with her saber up.

They approached the front of the building and a pair of droids opened fire at them from the building to the left. Bant and Dula spun and redirected the blaster bolts back at the droids.

"Hunter, hit that building with a few rockets." She said continuing to the capitol building.

"Yes Sir." He said making a few hand gestures. Two troopers turned and fired at the building and leveled it.

"Efficient and brutal." Harry said to Blaze as he nodded. The dog looked at the rubble and nodded too.

Harry followed as they rushed into the building and exchanged fire with droids inside the building. By the time he got inside the lobby there were destroyed droids littering the ground. Five troopers stood guard in the lobby as the Shadows and Hunter lead the rest of the troopers up the main staircase.

"There are fifteen floors. I want every floor searched and every droid scrapped." Bant said rushing up the stairs.

"Yes sir!" Hunter called out gesturing as fire teams split off and headed to different floors.

Harry followed at a slow pace making sure to stay close enough to the action to be on hand if they called for him but far enough away so they had to do this on their own. By the time he made it to the top floor Bant had a line of Trade Federation delegates against the wall being searched for weapons. Harry nodded at Bant and walked out of the building with Blaze. When he walked outside he saw a white EST with a gold Council symbol on the nose land in a clearing next to his ship. Yoda and Mace walked off the ship with a six man Sentinel detachment of guards. All of the Sentinels had their sabers in hand but not activated.

"You wont need those. The few droids still active were just taken out buy the Shadows and Hunter's unit." Harry said making a table and two chairs on one side and one chair on the other in the clearing in front of the building.

"I have a feeling these negotiations are going to go very fast." Mace said looking around at the destruction.

"So do I." Harry said watching four black Reapers flying around the capitol building in a diamond formation as three black ESTs hovered a hundred feet off the ground with their rail guns out.

Bant led the group Trade Federation parliament members out. In a single file line.

"This is a full surrender treaty. I need three signatures on this document to finish this war. Who's in charge?" Harry asked holding up a document.

"I am, and I'm not signing your treaty. This war was started…" the Numidian in the big headdress started ranting. Harry pulled out his gun and shot him in the chest dropping him like a sack of hammers.

"Right, who's the next person in line?" Harry asked pointing at the group with his still smoking gun.

"I am." The next guy in line said looking like he was going to shit himself.

"Are you going to sign the treaty? Or am I going to have to promote the next guy in line?" Harry asked.

"I will sign, we will all sign." He said sitting down.

"Good." Harry said putting the treaty and the pen on the table.

"Your negotiating tactic need some work Harry." Mace said looking at the dead politician in shock.

"There's a reason I stay away from the Senate." Harry said looking at the rest of the men in line.

"Violent as ever my son." Yoda said shaking his head.

"I want to get back to the Temple, and start to put the Order back together. I'm tired of this bullshit." Harry said petting Blaze's head as he looked at the Trade Federation members with a cold eye.

When they finished signing the Treaty they all got back on to their ships and left the planet in ruins. They recalled all fighters and when everyone was back on the ships they set a course for home and went as fast as the Marauder class ships could go. They made the trip back to the Coruscant in eighteen hours just as the sun was coming up. They landed the ships one at a time on the Temple landing pad. Everyone was there waiting to greet them. Sentinels were greeted by loved ones and the Clones stayed on the ships so they could head to Alderaan for some R&R. A skeleton crews stayed on each ship to make the journey with them. The Dragon was the last ship to touch down. Asajj looked at her bridge crew from her seat and smiled a teary smile at them.

"I know I said it before but I want to say it again. Thank you for your service." She said softly but her voice carried over the comm to the rest of the ship thanks to Pak hitting the button.

"Thank you Commander." Pak said bowing to her. The rest of the crew all stood and bowed to her too. Harry came around to stand in front of her and he bowed too.

"I am honored to have served with all of you." She said standing up.

"Commander leaving the Bridge!" Pak called out and they all stood tall and saluted her.

She returned the salute before walking off the bridge. She walked into her state room and sat at her desk. She placed her hand on the leather bound book sitting on her desk and cried.

"I'm sorry." She said softly.

"Sorry for what?" Harry asked coming out of the Shadows of her room.

"We lost so many. They can't go home." She said looking up at him.

"No, they can't go home, but for every one that didn't make it home, ten more did. My plan for this war would have cut our Order in two. I was willing to accept those losses. I wasn't happy about it but what is five hundred Jedi when you compare it too the rest of the Galaxy. That's not even counting the clone losses. You brought us home with how many losses?" He asked.

"We… I, lost eight Sentinels, and 4,519 clones." She said looking down.

"Eight Sentinels. Eight? You kept it to single digit numbers? My God kid. I want you to come with me right now." Harry said shocked.

"Where?" She asked standing up.

"You'll see. Come on." He said leading her up to the repair hatch at the top of the Druma.

When they got to the top he waved at her face and took away the redness. He stood on top of the ship and walked her to the sloping nose and stopped. Standing in front of the Black Dragon was a thousand Sentinels in black robes and armor. They stood in 25 rows of 40 and when they saw her they all stood at attention. Harry jumped off the ship and stood in front of the Sentinels with the Shadows.

"Sentinels! Salute your Commander!" Harry called out and they all pulled out their yellow Lightsabers and held them up at her.

She stood up tall, pulled one of her gold sabers and returned the Salute.

"Sentinels! You have fought with Honor and you have brought the Order Glory in Battle!" She said and got a cheer. "But we did not escape this war unharmed. Eight of our brothers and sisters did not make it home, and many more of our clone brothers perished in the fight. Many of you carry the scars of this war, and I want you to know that your service to the order in this time of war will never be forgotten. Instead this war will be remembered for the rest of eternity as a time when the Jedi were called upon to push back the dark and we answered the call with Pride and Honor!" She said getting cheers.

"Sentinels! That time to heal, to fest, to celebrate, and mourn. Because our new mission begins in just two weeks time. As you all know I've been commissioned to run a peacekeeping force. I need volunteers. I need men and women who are prepared to help those in need. To shield the weak, to heal the wounded, and to feed the hungry. I need Jedi ready to answer the call again. Now would any of you Sentinels know some Jedi that fit that description?" She asked with a smirk as the Sentinels laughed. "That's what I thought! There will be a sign up sheet in the war room. I expect to see names on that list by the end of the week! Now Sentinels, You are Dismissed!" She called out as they cheered and the crowd dispersed. She hopped down and Run up to her dad.

"That was some speech kid." He said hugging her.

"I learned it from my dad. How did you know that would work?" She asked.

"I know you needed to see the big picture kid. You lost eight Sentinels. It's a travesty. But compared to the lives you saved? To the men and women that made it home it's an acceptable trade off and everyone of those Sentinels that didn't make it would say the same thing. Sentinels know what the score is. They know that one day their black robes are going to get them killed. But they know they have a job to do, and they do it with honor." He said.

"Well said son." Andy said walking out of the Dragon with Ted.

"Gran!" She said pulling the older woman into a hug.

"It's like they haven't seen each other in years." Harry said making Ted laugh as he hugged the man.

"You leave my baby alone. I'm very proud of her. Giving a big speech like that." Andy said with her arm around Asajj.

"Thanks Gran. Are you staying long?" Asajj asked.

"Not too long. Your father said there was something important going on today and he wanted us to be here." Andy said looking at Harry.

"Speaking of, we have a Council meeting to attend." He said leading his family into the Temple.

When they got to the Council room Asajj saw it was packed, and in fact it looked like someone cast an expansion charm on the room to fit everyone inside. Anakin was there with Padme, his Mother, and Moe. All three Kenobi's were there and Asajj wanted nothing more than to run over and hold little Rani Kenobi. He looked so cute in his blue blanket. Master Plo was there as well which was a bit of a rarity since he was rarely seen since the war started. He was doing the work of all the shadows. Bant was also there. When the Potters came into the room the Council stood as one.

"The war is over and this Council would like to extend our deepest gratitude to our Commanders. Please step forwards. Master Harry Potter, Knight Luminara Potter, Knight Obi Wan Kenobi. We thank you, and we honor your valor with these medals of the Council." Mace said slipping a white silk ribbon with a round gold medal with the symbol of the Jedi Council on it around their necks. When they all stepped back Mace smiled at Asajj.

"Note that we did not call on Padawan Ventress. That is because her name is not Padawan Ventress any more." Mace said.

"Before the war, a pair of gold sabers I gave you." Yoda said standing on his chair. "Reserved for Masters Gold sabers are. So to carry the sabers of a Master, a Master we must make you." He said smiling proudly at her as a look of shock crossed her face.

"But, I'm not even a Knight." She said.

"That is correct, but never in the history of the Order has a Padawan done more for the Order. You have shown, at every turn, that you are your father's daughter. You embody every trait and quality we look for in a Master." Mace said.

"Time it is, to make it official." Yoda said. Dimming the lights in the room with a wave of his hand. "Step forwards." He said as all of the Jedi in the room ignited their lightsabers.

Asajj stepped forwards and dropped to one knee in front of Yoda.

"By the right of the Council. By the will of the Force. Dub thee I do, Asajj Potter, Jedi," He paused as he cut her braid with a swift twitch of his arm. "Master of the Republic." He said.

Asajj leaned forwards and grabbed Yoda in a tight hug.

"Thank you Grandfather." She said.

"Proud of you I am, so young and yet so dedicated to the Order. Your parents have trained you well." He said.

"They have." She said picking up the blue braid off the floor and turning to her family. They were all smiles and even a few tears from her mother and grandmother. She walked up to her dad and held out the braid. "Thank you." She said in a thick voice.

"No Sweetie, thank you. You have been the best daughter a man could ever wish for." He said taking the braid before pulling her into a tight hug. When the rest of her family and friends had a chance to congratulate her Mace spoke up once again.

"We have one more Padawan in this room that needs a title change. Anakin Skywalker you have proven you skills and your wisdom in dangerous situations. You have taken responsibility for the protection of the Senate and the Temple. Step forwards." Mace said and Anakin took a knee in front of Yoda.

"By the right of the Council. By the will of the Force. Dub thee I do, Anakin Skywalker, Jedi," He paused as he cut his braid. "Knight of the Republic." He said with a grin.

"Thank you Master." Anakin said bowing low to Yoda. He picked up his braid and turn back to his family. He walked up to Padme and dropped to one knee. He held out the braid. "Padme Amidala. Will you marry me?" He asked.

"Yes!" She said taking the braid as she pulled him into a deep kiss.

"Hey Young Shadow. Do it right!" Harry said tossing Anakin a ring box. Inside the box was a platinum ring with a huge square diamond flanked by two blue stones that glowed. "She's a Queen, and my little sister. You can't seal an engagement with a braid of hair." Harry said with a smile.

"Thank you Harry." Anakin said looking at Harry with respect and gratitude on his face.

"Anakin, don't listen to him. I will hold onto this forever." She said holding his braid. "But that ring is nice." She added with a smile which made everyone laugh.

"Now that we covered the Padawans there are a few Knights in the room that should be Masters by now. I can only say that the war postponed these proceedings. Will you please step forwards Knights Kenobi, Potter, and Erin." Mace said. Obi, Siri, Luminara, and Bant took a knee in front font of Yoda and one by one he re-knighted them Masters of the Jedi Order. When he was all done they all stood up and they were congratulated by their family.

"Lastly we have one more title change to make. Harry please step forwards." Mace said with a smirk. Harry looked at the smirk and thought about what they were talking about and then it hit him.

"Respectfully. A seat on the Council is really no place for a Shadow." He said in a rushed panic.

"Harry, you've been a Jedi for close to ten years. You've spent more time in this room then you have in your apartment. I think by now we know your opinion of this Council and the job we do." Mace said.

"I have the utmost respect for the Council. I just have no desire to join it." He said.

"We know. Instead we reached back into our history and found a much more suitable title for you. A thousand years ago when Jedi first went out into the galaxy and started protecting planets, the people on these planets were so grateful to the Jedi that they put them up in castles, and named them Lord Master of their planet. The Jedi in turn made it their mission in life to protect that planet. Harry, Kneel." Mace said pointing to the spot in front of Padme.

When he kneeled down Padme pulled the shiny chrome and jewel encrusted Saber hilt that looked like a silver rapier Harry made for her and ignited the almost pure white blade. She raised her rapier like Yoda did and smiled at him.

"Jedi Master Harry Potter, on numerous occasions you have risked life and limb to save the peaceful planet of Naboo. You built a home on our world and turned it into a school for the very best and most dedicated Jedi in the order. You have saved my life so many times I can't even count them all. Because of your actions and your dedication to the Planet of Naboo. I Name you Jedi Master Harry Potter, Lord Master of Naboo. Long may you protect the peaceful planet of light." She said mocking a tap on each of his shoulders.

"I am honored and humbled by this title my Queen." He said smiling at his adoptive little sister.

"I love you big brother." She said hugging him. With him on his knee she was taller then him and that made them both laugh.

"I think that covers everything. Now there is a reception in the main hall and the rest of the order is waiting for us." Mace said almost giddy.

They all headed down to the first floor and found the hall full of jedi, Senators, and family. Harry was one of the last ones into the room and when he entered they all bowed to him and muttered Lord Master in a reverent tone.

"Mace, you're a dead man. I know you did this." He said as Luminara and Asajj Laughed at him.

"Relax Harry, they are just using your full title." Mace said laughing.

"I hate all of you." He said with a smile.

"Sure you do dad." Asajj said holding little Rani Kenobi as the women all gathered around Padme to look at the ring.

"So Anakin, when is the wedding?" Harry asked putting his arm around the young Knight's shoulders.

"When ever my lady wishes." Anakin said taking Padme's hand.

"Good answer son. So little sister, when is this wedding going to take place?" Harry asked.

"When ever my big brother can get back to Naboo to marry us. As Lord Master you have all the powers of a king on Naboo." She said.

"You don't say? Does that mean I can over rule your judgments? Let's say I wanted to put up a big monument of me standing victorious. Would I be able to order that?" He asked with an evil grin.

"You could, but would you really subject all the people of Naboo to your ugly face Harry?" Padme asked with a bratty smirk.

"Hey!" Harry said.

"You asked. Now when are you getting back to Naboo so we can get married?" Padme asked.

"I was thinking next week. But I think you two should spend some time as an engaged couple first. You never know, you might hate each other if you had to spend more than a few weeks together. Ask this one here, I'm no picnic and I'm Lord Master of a planet." Harry said with a smirk.

"It's true, he's insufferable." Luminara said with a dry smile.

"See, Insufferable, but she's sticking with me. You two need to see if you can do the same. That's why I got you this as an early wedding gift." He said handing them and set of Keys and a folded up document.

"What's this Harry?" Anakin asked looking at the keys.

"Those are the keys to your Apartment in 500 Republica Place. The deed is under your names. I want you two to try living under the same roof as a couple before you get married. Find the things that annoy the hell out of you and see if you can put up with them. This will also let you run the Senate easier Anakin." Harry said.

"Thank you Harry, this is unbelievable." Anakin said hugging his mentor.

"Yes Harry, this is really something else." Padme said hugging him too.

"Give it six months and if you two still want me to marry you I'll set up a reception at the palace on Naboo. I'm sure I'll have some pull with the new queen. I've talked to her, she seems like a level headed girl." Harry said.

Later Van Habria approached him. Harry saw him coming and he gave him a cold stare.

"Master Potter, Knight Van Habria, Slicer, and head engineer on the Dragon." He said holding out his hand. Harry took it and pulled the younger man close to him.

"You been sleeping with my daughter?" Harry asked in a deadly voice.

"What!?" Van asked looking panicked.

"You heard me boy, I asked if you if you've been having sex with my little girl." Harry asked making the boy shake with fear.

"No sir, I did not." Van said in a voice that warbled a bit.

"Good , because if I find out you violated my daughter I'll make you beg for…"

"Daddy! Put him down right this instant!" Asajj said standing next to him with her hands on her hips.

"We were just talking. Right boy?" Harry asked setting Van back on his feet and smoothing the wrinkles on the younger man's robes.

"Right. Daddy, I'm a Master jedi and I'm old enough to date anyone I choose. Now leave him alone or I'll tell Grandma." Asajj said.

"Fine. Can I at least get to know the boy?" Harry asked with a smile.

"Only if Van agrees." She said.

"I'll stay. I'm the one that came over here in the first place. I want to get to know your dad the same way I talked to your mom." Van said with a little more confidence then he felt.

"See, we're just going to have a little talk. Now go play with the baby." Harry said waving her off with a soft smile. A smile that vanished the second she was out of sight. "Look, she obviously thinks she's old enough to date, and so does her mother. Since she's going to date it might as well be a Sentinel. At least I know you're an honorable man. You are an honorable man right?" Harry asked Van with a dead eyed smile.

"I like to think I am most of the time." Van said.

"Most of the time?" Harry asked with a raised eyebrow.

"I like to sit at the Sabaca tables at the Red door once in a while, but as you know, cheating at cards is hardly a bad thing when you're taking the money from bad men." Van said.

"You've sat in on the games? Moe knows about this?" Harry asked.

"He's the one that chose me to play. He saw how perceptive I was and he invited me down for a few games." Van said relaxing more as the conversation moved away from violence and threats.

"You know Moe?" Harry asked.

"He took me in when I was brought to the Temple six years ago. He saw my engineering skills and put me on the Slicer path." Van said with a smile.

"Six years ago? You're eighteen now that would have made you twelve at the time. That's a bit late in life to join the order, even for the new relaxed rules." Harry said.

"Well I didn't have much choice. You see my parents were killed eight years ago on Yevan two by pirates. I was taken hostage and sold into slavery. I was bought by a band of smugglers because I was big and they needed workers to load and unload the ship. The engineer, a slave himself taught me how to work on the ship. Six years ago the smugglers were running a shipment of guns stolen from the imperial guards. A Shadow hit our ship and killed every smuggler. He moved through the dark shadows on the wall like living ink. He used a blade, a black katana, to take the heads right off the evil bastards. When he got to the slaves he came out of the shadows and became a man. You. You turned the ship to the nearest Sentinel substation and put us in charge of taking the ship there. Then, without a word or a sound you vanished. When we got to the substation the Sentinels gave us food, clothes, and beds. They offered us jobs and gold. When they saw I was Force sensitive they sent me to Moe." Van said softly as he stared at his drink.

"I remember the ship. They were a bunch of savages. They burned a village on Ryloth. It's what I was after them for." Harry said deep in thought.

"So, I owe you my life Master Shadow. I love your daughter, but if you tell me to back off I will. I have to." Van said turning to look at him.

"Look Van. She's my little girl, the first of many children I will take in I have a feeling. I'm not happy about her dating. I'm not happy about her doing anything involved with growing up. But I know I can't keep her from dating forever. So heres what's going to happen. You say you owe me, then this is how you can repay me. Treat her like a lady. Make sure she's happy, and if you ever hurt her I will kill you." Harry said holding out his hand. Van looked at it and took it with a smile.

"On my life. You have my word as a Sentinel." Van said bowing.

"GOOD!" Asajj said coming around the column with Luminara, Barriss, and Ren.

"You heard all that?" Van asked looking a bit pink around the ears and neck.

"I did, now are we all good here?" Asajj asked.

"I think we are." Harry said nodding.

"Good. You come with me I want to show you off to my Grandmother and Dad needs to get to know his second daughter and his future son-in-law." Asajj said pulling Van away.

"So you're my new daughter then?" Harry asked looking at the tall thin fouteen year old milarian girl dressed in tight black tunic and black robes. She moved with a predatory grace and from the two sabers on her belt he knew she had a gift for killing.

"That's what she said Master Shadow." She said bowing her head to him.

"And you think you have the skills and talent to be my apprentice?" Harry asked with a blank face.

"I do. I have dedicated my life to your teachings and ways. I have worked tirelessly in my training with the goal to one day be good enough to stand before you." She said.

"And you believe your destiny is to become my student? My Padawan?" Harry asked.

"Yes Master." She in a calm and even tone, in fact at no point during the conversation did she waver or show any hesitation.

"Prove your skills. Your talents." He said backing up and clearing a space in the middle of the floor. All the Jedi saw what was happening and got excited. Everyone at the temple knew this day was coming. Barriss had trained very hard so one day she could prove her worth to the Master of Shadows.

"Yes Master. First one knocked unconscious?" She asked calmly.

"I think that will work." He said pulling his standard black saber out of his coat and letting it drop to the floor.

Barriss dropped her robe to the floor and Ren picked it up with a smile. She stood ten feet from him with one of her sabers in her right hand, but it was unlit. She stood there as the crowd watched and spoke in hushed tones. They stood like that for a few minutes and Harry smirked at her calm.

"You may attack whenever you are ready. You have to prove your have skills to me, so far all I've seen is the ability to wait." He said with a smirk.

Without saying a word she force jumped at him and attacked with a speed only seen in seasoned Shadows. Her strikes were hard and her movements tight. Had she been fighting anyone else she would have killed them by now. Harry intercepted a blow and force pushed her hard enough to make her fly though the air. She flipped and landed in a crouch with a smirk. She ran at him, jumped, threw her saber at him and vanished. As Harry caught the saber she appeared behind him and placed her hand on his head. A red light flashed and when it went out Harry was on the floor holding his head.

"Are you okay?" She asked bending down.

"I'll be fine, you put a lost of power into that stunning spell. Little one." Harry said with a smile.

"Does this mean you'll take me as your Padawan?" She asked.

"No, I don't take Padawans, but I think our family is ready for another kid or two." He said standing up. "What do you think, we ready for two more kids?" Harry asked his wife.

"I think we can handle the two of them." Luminara said with her arm around Ren's shoulders.

"Then it's settled. Barriss Offee and Ren Wyndar welcome to the family." Harry said smiling at the two of them. Barriss smiled back as she tried to hide her emotions and blink away the tears. Harry lead her over to a table and sat with her. Luminara followed a with Ren. "It's okay to let it out. You've been hoping for this for a while haven't you?" Harry asked rubbing her back.

"Since the day in class when you sat me down and showed me how to control my magic." She said hugging him.

"She's been training so hard. She wanted to be the best so you would take her as your next Padawan." Ren said taking her hand.

"You've been a true friend Ren. You've stuck by her this whole time." Harry said smiling at the very relaxed and calm boy that only had eyes for Barriss. He reminded him of Ted. As long as his girl was happy he was happy to stand by her and support her.

"She's my best friend. Where else am I going to go?" He said with a shrug.

"Good point." Harry said smiling at his wife. "How are your skills coming along Ren?" Harry asked.

"I'm getting there. I'm nowhere as good as Barriss, but she can take on most masters in the Temple so it's hard to tell. I can beat most Padawans, and even some Guardian Knights, but I've spent most of my time getting beat up by Barriss." Ren said with a smile.

"Then Luminara should be able to help you grow. I think at first she will bring you up to Barriss's level, and I'll start in on her Shadow training, then we will switch and I'll work on your Shadow training and Luminara can help Barriss with her heritage. Barriss, how much do you know about Milarian culture?" Harry asked.

"Not much. I've been raised in the Temple my whole life." She said.

"Then we have much to talk about. You have been through the rights, you have the Tattoos, I can help you find your path." Luminara said touching her chin tattoo.

"I would like that." She said smiling up at her new mother.

"Now just because we're going to start off working with you one at a time doesn't mean we're not a family. And as family we have a lot to talk about. In a few weeks things are going to get a little crazy and we're going to be on the move a lot. If a situation is deemed too dangerous then you two will stay at the Shadow school on Naboo. However, if a situation is not too bad I don't see why you two can't join us." Harry said.

"You mean we get to go on missions?" Barriss asked with a big grin.

"Sure, you two are not younglings anymore. As far as we are concerned you are responsible enough to be knights. But you are our children now, that means we're going to look out for you and protect you. If we tell you to do something you do it. That all starts with a bond. One that we will all share at some point but for now you will be bonded to me and Ren will share a bond with Luminara. This bond will allow you to share our memories and experiences. At the beginning we will use the bond to help us adapt to you and so you can get comfortable with us but as you get comfortable with the bonds we will open them up so we share an open dialog of thoughts and emotions." Harry explained as the rest of the family came over to meet the new kids.

"Harry stop boring them. Hi, I'm your aunt Padme. If you ever need to talk to someone that's not old you come to me." She said with a smile as she hugged the two of them.

"Hey, we are not old!" Harry said.

"Sure you're not Lord Master Shadow." Padme said patting him on the back just a bit too hard.

"Don't start with the titles little sister. You have just as many as I do. Queen Padme." He said with a smirk.

"This family is a bit dysfunctional." Asajj said sitting at the table with Van.

"Well you know what I say to that, you can't spell dysfunctional without FUN." Harry said smiling as everyone at the table groaned except Ren.

"That was funny." Ren said laughing.

"See, someone thinks I'm funny." Harry said patting the kid on the back.

They spent some time at the reception and at the end of the night they all headed off to the TAB. Andy and Ted turned to the Gateway in the entry hall of the TAB and it glowed.

"Thanks for coming. You are both coming out to the school next week right?" Harry asked.

"You're damn right we are. I want to test out your clay range." Ted said hugging Harry before he headed through the Gateway.

"It's all he's been talking about since Asajj told him about it. He's been cleaning his gun." Andy said with a smile.

"Well you know I'm always happy to see you guys." He said hugging her. He stepped back and Asajj hugged her next.

"Thank you for being there today Gran. It made it that much more special." She said pulling back from her new favorite family member.

"I wouldn't miss it for the anything sweetie." She said before stepping through the Gateway. Harry turned to Barriss and Ren. They were standing in the entry hall looking at the Gateway in shock.

"This is the Gateway. It's a portal to other universes controlled by the Mother Goddess. It is my mission to protect those worlds. If I'm…"

"We dear. We." Luminara reminded him with a smile.

"Right, if we are called away on a mission and it's not too dangerous then you can come with us. Now come with me and I'll show you your rooms." Harry said leading them up to the third floor of the Tab.

He put them in rooms next door to Asajj's room, a room she wouldn't be using too much now that she had the Dragon. After they got settled in for the night Harry went up to the master suite and found his wife waiting for him in bed. He stripped off his robes and slipped into bed with her.

"Love, do you think we're ready for two kids?" Harry asked with a smile.

"I'm sure we are. We have plenty of help. Did you see the way Andy was sitting with them? I think she want's to make sure she's there for every milestone. It's a good thing we have so many rooms in the TAB." Luminara said laughing.

"I built the TAB with this many rooms because I hoped that one day we would have all of our family with us all the time. A home for retired Shadows." He said smiling.

"Well, now it's a mobile command post. We need to build a team of fighters. You saw how well the war went when you had help." She said.

"True. We'll start looking into that after we pick our Shadow students. I Have Master Plo and Master Thoren ready to start teaching. In fact Master Thoren is still on Naboo. Me and You makes four instructors. We need to pick eight students. With our two that makes ten." He said.

"We'll hold a tryout. You'll have to fight every Sentinel and youngling in the order but you'll be able to hand pick the eight." She said.

"Tomorrow is going to be a tiresome day." Harry said rolling over and holding her to his chest.

"I think a day in the training room is a lot less tiresome than a war dear." She said smiling.

"True, it's good to be home." He said falling asleep.

The Mother Goddess looked on and smiled. They had a few weeks to rest before they would be needed again. She walked away from the Ball with that world and looked at a few others. There was trouble brewing, darkness rising, and light fading. But for now her champion could rest. He would need his strength for the coming fight. A fight that would be starting soon.

THE END... For now.
