![]() Author has written 31 stories for Mulan, Sons of Liberty, Hunger Games, Twister, Game of Thrones, and Crow. Most of what I write, although not all of it, touches on difficult subjects. I try to put trigger warnings on my summaries. Much of what I write is rated M, or at least T. Life isn't about happy ever after and neither are some of my stories. I also try to put smut warnings on my racier fics. I just started a community called Tough Topics, for stories that deal with topics like rape, alcoholism, suicide, etc. Giant's Fire is about Jon and Ygritte staying in the cave like she'd suggested, and starting a family, instead of what did happen. Giant's Fire: Land of the Old Gods is about Jon reuniting with Ygritte and their son after he's murdered by the Night's Watch, but he has to go back. But, he returns eventually. A girl is Arya Stark of Winterfell is about Arya rescuing Sansa from Ramsey, exacting her revenge on the Freys and killing Cersei. Stirrings in the Winterfell Crypts I'd always wondered if the spirits of those in the Winterfell crypts lurked in the castle. In this story, they do. Robb's spirit, as well as Lyanna's and Ned's, are there and they intervene against Ramsey on Sansa's behalf. The Sound of Snow details the aftermath of Sansa's trauma and putting back the pieces. Moon Tea Sansa is pregnant when she arrives at Castle Black, but she has no intention of bringing another Bolton into the world. The Road to Qui Gong is about the mission Shang and Mulan go on in Mulan 2 and how it would have been different had they slept together on the way to the Imperial City. It's basically a rewrite of the movie with sexy scenes thrown in and some definite differences for the story line. It has some portions in it that I took from my fic In Sickness and in Health because they seemed to fit for the cliff scenes. I ended up calling it quits on this story due to writer's block and personal stress. The Black Towel is about Jo and Bill Harding, and their marriage, split and reunion. It's a one-shot lemonade. Straight To The Train is set at the Quarter Quell reaping. Katniss and Peeta are dragged away, leaving a three month old son behind with Katniss's mother. Will follow through the Quell and Mockingjay, too, most likely. I bawled my friggin' eyes out just writing the first chapter. Prepare to need a kleenex, especially if you're a parent. Mulan's Fight: Never Back Down, talks about how low a dishonorable person can sink, but then still find redemption and spend the rest of one's life doing whatever it takes to make it right. It also shows just how far-reaching the consequences of one's seemingly secret sins can be. Our favorite Disney army officer is less than perfect. Way less. In fact, he's a downright monster in the first chapter. Mulan is at his mercy after he learns her secret and he uses it to his advantage and inflicts damage on her that she never can fully move on from. Mulan's Fight: Escape is a trio of one-shots that start the same way as NBD but have somewhat different ways Mulan escapes her desperate circumstances and Pretty Boy kicks the bucket. Mulan's Fight: The Cost of Secrecy is the story of Shang's first attack on Mulan while he's keeping her secret from everybody else after the avalanche. It has a big trigger warning for a reason. It's detailed and it's ugly. You'll want to punch Pretty Boy by the end of it. Mulan's Fight: The Medic takes place during chapter one of NBD and talks about how the medic from the Tung Shou Pass realizes how Shang is mistreating Mulan but is threatened by the General into not intervening. I do have one cute little one-shot about Sha-ron, one of the little girls who wants to emulate Mulan at the beginning of the 2nd movie. I made it K-plus since it talks a little about Shan Yu's death. I've got 3 one-shots about Mulan and Shang's struggles in Mulan 2, In Sickness and In Health, My General and She Follows Her Heart. ISAIH and MG are very similar. ISAIH is Shang's thoughts before and mostly after Qi Gong, MG is Mulan's thoughts before and after Qi Gong, and SFHH is about their fight at the riverside village and subsequent break-up. Chi Fu Meets His End has Shang getting rid of the Emperor's Counsel for good after he crosses the line and takes his hate of Mulan and all women too far. Then it follows their life together. I do plan to update and finish this story eventually, but I'm stuck. The Lady Soldier is about the lengths Mulan might have had to go to stay alive, had circumstances been different regarding her discovery. Once again, Pretty Boy has a bad side, but not with violence. For most of the story, his selfishness is like the elephant in the room that isn't talked about. But then the story gets a conscience in chapter 9. Lots of sex scenes in this story. Shan-Yu and the Crow is a little one-shot crossover. It has Shan-Yu's pet falcon as a crow that is his source of life. As long as the crow lives, he lives. I got the idea from the movie The Crow which shows a man who comes back from the dead to avenge his and his girlfriend's death and is invincible as long as a crow who follows him lives. The scene in the Pass showing the falcon flying over the avalanche wreckage followed by Shan-Yu climbing out of the snow seemed to show the bird as his source of life. Doc Warren is from The Sons of Liberty. It's a little one-shot about Dr. Joseph Warren killing Gen. Gage in the battle of Bunker Hill and marrying Margaret Gage, instead of Gage killing him. You Fight Good is a trashy two-shot about Shang following Mulan to an inn on her way home following his eloquent blunder at the palace. It's pure smut, no other way to put it. The second chapter is about them sneaking around while at the Fa home and while on a mission for the Emperor, but they keep getting caught. Granny Fa is one of the people who catches them, and she knows how to blackmail. Khan: From The Horse's Mouth is about Mulan's escapades, told from her very vindictive horse's perspective. Everybody who crosses Mulan gets placed on a kick list and is treated to a one hoof salute. I just changed the rating to T and added a trigger warning since I'd forgotten there's a brief mention of rape. The Son of Peace is a three chapter fic born from a fic I tried to write and scrapped and rewrote countless times about Mulan not knowing she is pregnant with Shang's child until she loses it. Some versions I wrote had her laboring after the avalanche and some after leaving the Imperial City. Some versions had her dying in childbirth and some not. I just couldn't decide how I wanted it all to play out, so I ended up with this little fic. I had also wanted to write a fic about Shang asking Mulan to marry him instead of the famous "You fight good!" but couldn't seem to make it a one-shot. I just added a second chapter that's pure trashy smut about how Mulan ended up pregnant in the first place and what happened in the tent on the way home from the palace before she loses the baby. The third chapter goes more into detail about Mulan losing the baby and their relationship until they get married. The Most Beautiful of All is a one-shot about how Fa Zhou views Mulan. Her low opinion of herself at the beginning breaks his heart. It follows his thoughts from her return from the Matchmaker's until her return from war. I rated it T for war violence, as it describes briefly how Fa Zhou may have been injured in battle. I actually cried writing this, and the line about how Fa Zhou had to make Fa Li eat and sleep or else she would just stand by the door waiting for Mulan to come home- that line puts tears in my eyes every time I reread it. Gotta Go Through Us First is about Haymitch and Mrs. Everdeen devising a way to keep Prim from being sent to the Capital by President Coin, thereby saving her life. The heroine of China will not be defeated so easily is set during Mulan 2. During the bandit attack, Mulan is kidnapped and brutally raped. When Shang finds her, she is bruised and beaten and thinks she's too filthy for him to love. But he stays by her side no matter what, and helps her through the turmoil she faces after being gang-raped. Trigger warning needed, obviously. Gale and Johanna is about the two hooking up in 13 and also after the war. Lemon. I will always watch over you is set at the end of Mockingjay, pre-epilogue, and Prim's ghost is watching over Katniss. She keeps her safe from murderous intruders and foils a suicide attempt in two separate one shots. Will add on as the inspiration hits. |
