Funny! I love it!

Perfect perfect perfect. Your characterisation of Mushu is absolutely wonderful and the whole story has just the right amount of humour and romance.

I know this was written awhile ago, but...
I loved this. Especially Mushu lol, because so MANY people try to write his character and a lot of times it's sort of off. But this was spot-on - everybody was in-character - and it was absolutely hilarious while facing a semi-serious subject. The way the humor and the problem were mixed was perfectly written.

Cute :) I think you hit Mushu right on the head, all the characters were written well, but Mushu especially so. I giggled through all of his scenes! I like how you depicted Khan, although there were some typos with the italics in his scenes with Ma that left me a bit confused; it could be figured out, it just took a little while, and it disturbed the flow of the story a little bit. All in all, though, this was a very cute and well written story, so keep up the good work :)

i just watched mulan yesterday and yup, if anyone was to object to shang and mulan getting together it would be khan the horse! loved the way he neighed so protectively when shang drew his sword to supposedly kill mulan. kudos to you for creating this awesome plot and writing it out so well!

I still love this story as much as I did 7 years ago when I read it for the first time :) fantastic fantastic work.

This is the most delightful story I've read that went to continue Mulan. Near everyone else fails to capture that neatly sealed up Disney 'well, you know they live happily ever after ending' that you've managed to secure in a bright red ribbon! Adn I have to say, you've made one of the best renditions of Mushu I've read! You caputured all of the character's very well. I especially like how you left crick-ee to his chirping, everything is just so much funnier if the audience is the one responsible for putting the words into his little buggy mouth. I also like how you managed to make it total syap, while still keeping Shang as a very masculine, and fairly strong character. *tips the metaphorical hat*

The only comment for possible improvement I can add is that you may want to look into describing the scenery a bit more, just to flush out the world a bit..

khan going up at the wedding and stealing Shang's cape.
