 Author has written 10 stories for Rurouni Kenshin, Avatar: Last Airbender, and Skies of Arcadia. Hello and welcome. I am a female twenty-something PhD student with an unholy love of stories. Anything with a good story-line, I am all over. As a result, I read voraciously, watch tv shows and movies constantly, and play video games frequently. I started writing fanfiction in high school, in Rurouni Kenshin, and then in 2009 I switched to the Naruto fandom. But now I'm back with Ruroken, hopefully with an improved writing style. I am also endlessly fascinated with the story stats feature on here. It's so cool to see hits from so many different countries! A Few Notes Disclaimer These aren't the droids you're looking for. Move along. On My Stories I deleted some of my old stories, essentially all the Skies of Arcadia and Gundam Seed ones. I deleted them because I wanted to clean up this account, and they had not generated any hits for several months. I did not think they would be missed. EDIT: "Trade Winds" was reposted in the Skies of Arcadia fandom. The pre-2009 Ruroken stories left on this account were written by teenager-me. They are accordingly not very good. But they still get hits on here, so I've left them up. Also, when I was 9 I got a British penpal. He teased me incessantly about how I spelled things 'incorrectly'. In response, I began to spell things in the British fashion. We lost touch when I was 13, but the spelling thing lingered until I finally kicked the habit in college. So my older stories may be sprinkled with British-isms. It's random and a product of silliness; please ignore it. My two stories "The Last Messenger" and "For King and Country" tell the same basic tale. TLM is the old version; when I was writing it back in 06-07, I didn't really know what I was doing with it, so it has a minimalist sort of style in which one can easily spot my shaky grasp of plot (and romance...). However, I love the story. In all these years it has not fully left my mind. So I rewrote it, fleshing it out a bit and revamping some plot points and hopefully improving it. I renamed the old version and used "For King and Country" as the title for the rewrite. FKaC is a bit darker, more serious, with a bit less snark and a lot more backstory.Update Status "Teahouse" is a spastically-updated plot-bunny hutch. Little drabbles or story fragments will get posted here as they burst out of my brain like chest-busting aliens. No set timeframe for updates or anything (Talons will get more sequels, though!).
