Is this story still alive? Even though I just discovered it, it's been 6 years since the last update, and I've been enjoying it thus far.

I love this story! And Kenshin is a greatly written character which still has his characteristics from the anime while at the same time has that battousai or rather a feel that I imagine a demon would have in his character. And Kaoru! Love her personality in this. She seems so real and genuine. I hope you continue this story.

It turns out that Ive read this fic, back in the day! It still holds up and is a delight to read. I love competent, still-willing-to-fight kenshin, and i like watching him and kaoru dance. Its such fun!

I very much enjoy your story. The problems they cross are ingenious & the people in character even with the twist that Kaoru doesn’t originally want Kenshin around. You may moved on but I hope you will finish it one day. In the meantime, I appreciate the story & thank you for it.

Oh man, this is so well done! I love how you show the real differences in worldview between humans and demons - the occasional glimpses just make it even more jarring when the characters suddenly reach a disconnect.

I'm waiting to read more about Kaoru and the 3 inch scalp massage critters. I'm pretty good with insects: I let praying mantises walk on me, and I love having dragonflies land on me when I'm swimming in Hopeville Pond (CT). However, I would NOT like your insectoids in my hair. Does she get upset enough for Kenshin to come charging to her rescue in the women's bath? What a scene that would be. It's only been three years. can continue this wonderful tale. Please?

On a more serious note. The autumn leaf clinging to it's branch, and finally letting go and surrendering to the wind is just about the best analogy for death I have encountered in literature. If it is your creation, congratulations. If it is from Japanese philosophy, thank you for bringing it to my attention. It brought me to tears, but it is somehow a comforting vision. Thank you again.
