The ending of this is hilarious, Kaoru's list of demands is well thought out and also very funny.

I also really like the mention that Hiko dragged Kenshin to a bunch of optometrists when he was a child.

This was a fantastic AU. I loved the exposition, and the way you made common tropes seem new and fresh again. Thanks for sharing such a delightful story!

I really love this story! I have to assume this is supposed to be the Snowpocalypse, but in January instead of February? If so, I kind of had a semi-hilarious bus experience, laughing while reading this.

I do want to quibble quickly about Chicago; there's nothing unsafe about driving down 47th St, and also, even if you thought there were, there would be no conceivable reason to, unless she lived there? Which would make that more confusing... Sorry, we Chicagoans are crazy :p

Also, I would have had Kaoru wait to bring up couple's counseling until they had been dating at least a little while (or just think it to herself). But that's me.

I also really love your other two stories, Babies and Bullets and Safe Houses and Storms, that I have decided function as sequels to this (even though you might not have meant them to). You should write more!

So I saw the last time this updated and I have to ask. Is it discontinued? Please don't tell me it is because its so cute and perfect I love it.

Not bad, a very sweet one-day romance you have here, although it seems they got together a little more quickly than is realistic.

I'm not going to argue politics in fanfiction, but referring to the entire Republican Party as xenophobic and racist is an extreme generalization and flat out libel against most of the party. Most Republicans have nothing against foriegners nor minorities as long as they respect the immigration laws, don't try to finagle privledges that only belong to U.S. citizens and/or other legal residents, and don't call "rasicm" over every little ambiguous thing, oh, and plotting to massacre innocent people is a big no-no, as well.

Hey, "Aladdin" is a great movie and my personal favorite Disney animated feature (and actually has pretty good sequels and cartoon series tie-in unlike most of them)! It's right up there with classics like "Cinderella" and "Lady and the Tramp," other renessiance masterpieces like "The Little Mermaid" and "Beauty and the Beast," and more recent hits like "Tangled" and "Frozen"

Switzerland was invaded.. Figures, Kenshin is just a stickler to details, hence the invasion. I love the tension though! ..well, while it lasted I mean. Himura just went in for the throat! Kaoru did not have a chance! XD.. not with the pancakes. That had sealed the deal. *shakes head*

I'm still hoping for Kaoru's revenge though. Despite the wonderful opportunity it presented to her.. Revenge is sweet, and all the more glorified if just for the spirit of real, unadulterated fun! XD

Shishiop making a cameo sounds nice too! XD, Kenshin should have his own brand of retribution for our dear pyromaniac after all.. XD

I'm afraid, if not for the radiator committing suicide, and sacrificing himself in the name of good fluff.. I would have resorted to a microscope and squinted my squint-y eyes before I saw the tension.. Sorry.. Though, I may be exaggerating a bit..

It's just that, it was really more of an intellectual exchange than of the heat [carnally speaking.. XD] I was too busy trying to understand what they were talking about to consider the little bits of lusty thoughts filtering in.. XD Big brain, little brain thing. I barely even registered the fact that Himura is seriously considering growing old with a not-stripper Kaoru.. XD

I love the pillow talk though! That was adorable. XD

That was a really awesome chapter. The poems you put in were wonderful. 'On Marriage' was especially bittersweet to me.. It was lovely.
