![]() Author has written 8 stories for Gilmore Girls. I'm possibly too old to be spending my spare minutes writing my own ending to my favourite show but on discovering this site a few weeks ago I couldn't help myself. I was a 90's teenager who fell in love with Pacey Witter long before Joey came to her senses. As a uni student I followed Felicity as she followed Ben to NYC and found herself there instead. I was in my final year of university when the Gilmore girls came into my life and I was at that in between age where I could relate to both of the main characters in different scenarios, experiencing my first love and heartbreak alongside these strong women. I now enjoy sharing them with my husband and 6 year old son who very possibly loves the show even more than I do! As a new mother up all hours of the night feeding a newborn I was taken back to my choir girl roots and got caught up in the mischief and melodrama that is Glee. I do love my teen dramas but I also enjoy scifi and Walter Bishop is one of my all time favourite characters written with so much depth and integrity, even the ugly parts of his personality, Fringe is a show I started watching because of one of its main stars but I continued to watch because it was so captivating. So many incredible characters have made me stop and think and I take my hat off to the amazing minds that created them. Well, I think that's enough about me and how I came to be here. Thankyou in advance to anyone who takes the time to read Forever Tethered. This is my first attempt at writing a fiction piece of any kind really. If you'd like me to read your stories please PM me and I will as soon as I can. Enjoy today xx This is a bit outdated now but I am still around. I spent the best part of the last year growing a tiny human and the last 6 months nourishing her and watching her grow. Gilmore girls is still very close to my heart and I hope to finish Future Days at some point when my writer's block lifts. Revival time will almost certainly see more people coming into this community and I hope it stays as welcoming and supportive as I have always found it to be. |
