holy shit. this story will haunt me for the rest of my life, that last chapter broke me in two. this story was absolutely amazing, i have no words other than thank you for writing this amazing, heartbreaking piece of fiction.

Okay my favorite boys in Gilmore a Girls are Jess and Tristan and having Tristan come back and be this AMAZING guy just warmed my heart. This is an amazing read and you’re a really good writer! Keep up the good work

okay so I really enjoyed this story, I worked a very similar Job to jess for a long while and I really enjoyed someone showing how rough it can be on all the other aspects of your life and not have it portrayed in a super negative way

Was totally waiting for that extended alternate ending! But hey, I just wanted to say, I’m a newer reader. I looked at the story with some skepticism, sure it had only gotten so many reviews because of potential smut, but I’m so happy I was wrong. I think you created a really unique AU, playing off small jokes from the series about Jess being a giggolo, and I think you still captured the characters really well while making them and the story your own. I love that there was redemption for Tristan (and none for Logan), and just overall what you did. I was rooting for them to work things out too, but I do like that Rory held firm. But if you ever decide to do a spinoff and post a full alternative ending, I’m here for it! Thanks for finishing your story :) I can’t imagine the excitement your OG readers felt.

So when I started reading this story almost a year or so ago, I was broken. I had never once read something so beautifully written and heartbreaking. It's almost as if you encapsulated the star-crossed lovers of Gilmore Girls and wrote it with your own twist. God, sometimes, I had wished you had become the official writer for the show. It all came tumbling down when you decided to remove Chapter 35 (the original one where Rory and Jess do end up together) and I love to reread my favorite fanfictions, so I naturally went through the process of rereading yours and noticed there wasn't the chapter anymore. I'm almost positive that something broke in me when I saw that there was no happy ending for these two. Had I wanted to see my OTP not end up together, I would've watched the real series. That's the reason we all turn to fanfiction right? To be able to create our happy ever after? Sometimes it angers me that I never get endgame for these two, regardless of the universe and it just reminds me so much of heartbreak and for that I seriously applaud you. This story is by far, the best written story on under Gilmore Girls even though there's no happy ending. It kills me so much to hear that this story is over and I'm happy that you're glad with your outcome of the story. Literati is a pair that will rival Romeo and Juliet for the days to come. Especially now with the writing you've provided for these two. There's moments in your writing that physically gives me pain in my chest. Apparently, (and I researched this) when something truly saddening happens to you, your heart tendons can actually snap. You've made me feel heart tendons snap for Rory in that one scene where Jess moves in and he begins to work and Rory is left to her own devices at home. The character's emotion struck such a strong chord with me that I could actually feel it. I've never felt like that about a story ever. Ever. EVER. I know this review is getting really long but it's hard to say goodbye to the story that you held onto for a long time. The story that cheered you up after a long day. Or the story that powered you through the next chapter and the next just waiting to see how things develop. I'll leave you off with this Romeo and Juliet-ish quote that I've personally drafted for Literati.
"For never was there a tale of more despair, than this of Literati and their love affair."
