I love how Jess calls Lorelai on her pity party, but then she turns it around and engages him. They are going to be the best part of the blended family.

"I raised him to be very independent" hurt a lot. The Liz that we know is pretty hard to hate, but she messed up Jess pretty badly :(

I like how you made this story realistic in the way that Rory's having a bit of job troubles. Nothing dramatic, but yes, still enough for family and friends to inquire about it and butt in.

Of course Sookie had been crying since breakfast. This is so lovely.

TRUNCHEON. EXCUSE ME WHILE I FLAIL BUT I HAVE SO MUCH LOVE FOR JESS'S PHILLY LIFE. "I thought you were cool, man" HAHAHA this is pure gold. And now I have the image of Luke having copies of The Subsect under the counter which is amazing.

Oh, and I love scenarios where Rory and Jess get drunk together to deal with the close proximity. Adorable idiots. And AGH, THE HEAT. "Sometimes you look at me like you want to eat me alive" WAH.

Anyway the entire fic was fabulous from start to finish and I'm sorry I never discovered it earlier (but also glad because I got the ending straight away). So yes, THANK YOU for this!

Yay, he got both the Lane and Paris stamp of approval! And Richard read his book! Rory's being a conflicted baby just as she always had been but hopefully after all the good advice that she got from Paris she'll wise up. In the meantime, this was all lovely and so in character, I loved it!

Uh oh, drama! But on the plus side we got Jess with baby Doula and of course he knows exactly what to do. Talk about swooning. Besides, it's nice and very intriguing to hear that something happened between him and Rory, even if it was ill-advised.

I love how you managed to get so many characters a lovely scene each, I really enjoy your April.

Now I'm sad I only have two chapters left.
