I just rewatched "Presenting Lorelai Gilmore" last night, so I came back here wanting to reimagine it with Jess instead. :-) Everything is better with more Jess!

I absolutely adore this story so far. Jess is very in-character, Lorelia, Luke and Rory too. It’s very impressive. Keep up the good work

Hope that the Rory and Jess situation gets better soon. An angry/hurt /hidden Jess has long reach effects: Luke has no help; Andrew has no help; Rory can't find him. They most certainly do need to talk about their situation. It can be fixed. Thanks.

This chapter went way too fast. I couldn't believe I got to the end so fast!. I missed Jess in this chapter and cant imagine where he's hiding out. Hopefully, when Rory gets to explain herself, he will understand why she was so testy!

Welcome to 2019! I got alerts that you posted new chapters so . . .I went back and re-read EVERYTHING of yours that is Gilmore Girls related. I agree with you . . . There are times that you just can't LIKE Rory. Especially in that sorry excuse for the Gilmore Girls Revival. I understand ASP had some loose ends to tie but she dramatically changed Jess' girl into someone unrecognizable. . .again!

But I digress. I am continuing to love Freudian Slip - if anything, I think it plays out how it SHOULD HAVE in the series. Dean was never a match for Rory. Jess is rather rough around the edges but at least they are compatible. Don't fret about borrowing dialogue as you have fundamentally shifted the story (to make more sense in my opionion).

Keep updating! But if you lag, no worries. . .I'll just re-read it again! Do you have an end in mind? I wouldn't mind you continuing through series end and beyond but would understand if you don't.

At least Rory recongnized how stupid she was in yelling at Jess for how he let her know about the Rory curtain. I’ve actually thought many times that the episode Richard in Stars Hollow would have been made better if he stmbled across Jess and had a discussion on books. Would love to see that.

You’re take on Paris in Stars Hollow was spot on and hysterical! It was much better with Jess in the really overreacted to Jess not telling her about the curtain, and I imagine on a normal day, she would have just rolled her eyes at him .Jess was right about everything he’s done for her, and her response of asking he was comparing notes was inane. No wonder Jess felt blindsided. Once Rory realized her own stupidity, she should have run after Jess as fast as her clumsy little feet could take her, instead of wallowing with Lorelai. Stupidity x2 just means Rory’s gonna have a lot of groveling to do!

This chapter felt a little like filler to me, but it was still great to read. I'm curious to see where you will be taking this relationship next, now that all the big "firsts" are out of the way. Can't wait to read more!
