This story was really great. I wished the show had actually gone like this

I love how you have him wrap his arm around her shoulders and kiss the top of her head at the end of this chapter. That time when he did that on the show while they were walking down the sidewalk was always one of my favorite moments between the two of them just because it was such a casual action but such an in love action at the same time.

Jess had been her first, and right now she wanted him to be her only, forever.

Aw! I really loved this story! I love seeing this as a starting point for them instead of Rory sleeping with Dean. I really love seeing Rory and Jess end up together and that we see Lily and all them. Also the Luke and Lorelai parts were great too! :)

Wow...Jess' speech...your writing of it ...to explain the depth of what he truly feels...makes me understand him a whole lot better than what I got from the show...I've always known Jess was complicated from the start with everything he's been through but you uncomplicated him with just that speech you wrote. You should write more Jess/Rory! The whole thing was so well written, really good and very well in character. I was a little nervous about reading something with so many chapters but I'm glad I stuck it through.
