Smaug survives Lake Town, but only barely. The black arrow digs deep into his chest as he flees without choice. He takes refuge in a cave miles away from Erebor, where he lays down and waits for death to claim him. It is as he is clinging to the last threads of life that a gentle-eyed woman stumbles upon him. Arrogant even in death Smaug thinks little of her but will that change?

The Doctor returns for Clara on December 1st, but any plans to fly away are diminished when the TARDIS breaks down, leaving him trapped in 21st Century London. Rooming with Clara during his 'imprisonment' doesn't do much for his dignity, but once the two overcome much awkward tension, he realizes that maybe being domestic isn't so bad, so long as you're with the right person.

Erik knew exactly what she was from the moment she walked in. She was so much like the man who ruined his life, yet so different in her own way. But the moment he laid his eyes on her, Erik made his decision. He might not be able to get his revenge on the Vicomte de Chagny, but that didn't mean he couldn't take it out on his sister.

*COMPLETE* Anne, having such a deep love for her mother, is sent to live with her Aunt Giry at the Opera Populaire, while her mother slowly dies of consumption. Erik, having such a deep love for Christine, is still living beneath the Opera House, living only half a life. Both will be tested and tried in order to find that there is more to the other and more to life than just music.

I couldn't believe that the BoFA movie didn't touch on the ultimate fate of Erebor's treasure, particularly the Arkenstone and the necklace that Thranduil desired. Perhaps one day the Extended Version will shed some light on these things, but for now, here's my own attempt to do so. Combination of book and movie verse, focuses mainly on Bilbo and Thranduil. Then a most curious creature stops by flattering and amusing the ancient being. How long will Bilbo stay amusing and by extension... alive.
