I've reread (again) this glorious fic recently and boy, it's still as wonderful and emotional as I remembered. I easily consider it one of the top 3 sacred fics in the fandom.

All I could imagine by the end of this story was them just travelling on the Tardis for months on end and Clara coming down the stairs at some point with her hand on her stomach and giving each a kiss.

I found this story and I finished it in 2 hours, I couldn't put it down! Its definitely one of my favorites.

I just want to say how much I've been enjoying this story. Perhaps you are a neurosurgeon in training or you have had a personal experience with brain tumors. I fall on the side of the personal experience. My brother, diagnosed with a Grade II Mixed Glioma, has had two surgeries during the last year. The terms and references and dialog are spot on, although The Doctor probably has a slightly better bedside manner. I just wanted to thank you for this story and although it stirs up painful memories for me, I will absolutely continue to read it. Please continue to write great stories from your heart.

What a lovely story that deserves so many more reviews than you have. This was heartbreaking at times, I thought you captured the Doctor's brokenness very well. I loved the integration of other who characters, especially Martha. I liked the blue Tardis boat, and how it started to symbolize the new life they were building together. Thank you for not making River Song out to be a jerk. Thanks for letting these two be happy in the end. I hope that Clara will continue to be able to sort the Doctor out. This was a well written and enjoyable read. Thanks for posting.

I've just read this entire fic in one go and I was captivated from start to finish. It was so beautifully done, easily readable and not full of purple prose. And strangely despite its AU nature this is the most in character I've seen twelve in a fanfic in a long while. So very very while done to you :)
