I could not put this story away! It was short, sweet, and beautifully delivered. In 8 chapters you captured the characters perfectly and transported me into the story. If only Erik had actually revealed himself in this way, I believe the story would have had this happy ending. Thank you for writing this!

Perfectly lovely! I think Erik DID hear Christine's comment that he wasn't such a hopeless bachelor, after all, and asked because he simply couldn't believe he what he heard.

The confrontation between Erik and Madame Giry was very well done...dripping with tension! Obnoxious of him to be so charming while making outrageous suggestions and to be so immediately contrite afterwards that I couldn't really be annoyed.

I like Madame Giry's talent for appearing out of nowhere at just the right moment. Perhaps she's gotten some tips from the O.G.?

Huh, Erik doesn't seem to realize it, but he's tonight's Cinderella rather than Christine...only he left behind a handkerchief instead of a shoe!

I greatly enjoy Erik and Madame Giry's verbal sparring.

I laughed out loud at Meg's comment on Erik's backside. Too bad he didn't overhear that. I wonder what he made of Christine's distraction over his legs.
