Turning 24 reminded me of a lot of my unfinished projects, including three or four fics that I had planned on updating but never got the chance to because of a combined amount of reasons ranging from "I was tired from work" to "I just didn't feel like it." I have honestly tried to find a lot of things to change in the storyline and originally wanted to post all the remaining chapters for the fics which I still have on my active list so as to complete all of them in one shot but I figure that I better make some updates so the people who read them don't think I've died or something.

Anyway, the next chapter of CBE is up and I may have time to post the next one tomorrow assuming I can find the beta'd copies. If I can't I guess I can just post it raw, ne?

Update for Nov 13, 2008

All the next chapters of CBE are now being beta'd! Sadly I haven't finished editing the chapters I do have (around 3) but rest assured that the entire fic plus half the sequel has already been outlined. All it takes for me to actually start posting chapters would be to find the time to start writing again. However, working the night shift in a call center doesn't really do a lot for motivation purposes so haha, that might take a while longer. Expect some more political intrigue with this incarnation of the fic, as well as an AU Akatsuki which may or may not have members who weren't a part of the group from the original canon. Lots of surprises to read when I finally bother to post the things, but I hope to make your wait worthwhile. Or, failing that, my betas will make sure any chapters that come out will actually be worth reading. Currently working on the part where Naruto will be introduced to Team 7, and if you've read CBM expect a different personality with the Naruto I'll be using in CBE. Also, the other fics will be put on hold while I work on CBE so don't expect any updates from most of them until at least after December.

Anyway, hope you guys still bother to keep me in your alerts list. If you have the time send me an email at j.aggabao@. I usually reply to any emails regarding the fic as much as I can and if I don't that either means the computer crashed or I have no interwebs.
