Thank you for making this, really. The most integrated, believable, and better version of every "Uchiha brothers without hatred AU" ever existed in the internet. The intention to illustrate each chapter is so intense. It's lucky I didn't mistake this for a mere comedy! What happened to the massacre was emotionally burning.

And I can't consider some chapters as 'filler' but more of revelations, cause-effect and development. I regard filler as a stand alone that has nothing to do with the plot at all. Reading all of them is so fun. Really, great job.

I like the way you illustrate every battle! I miss the days when Masashi writes about cool moves, combo, strategies and techniques rathen than...well, you know, how they are fighting overpowered gods/extraterrestrials now instead of fellow ninja. You have patched up the missing hole in my memory about what makes Naruto originally exciting.

Also I was taken aback, but not anymore since the sexual jokes back then was more laid back than it was now. I even laughed at the character's banter. Maybe future readers should be warned on this fic's published year. Nowadays people are oversensitive without taking note of context and time. I am a bisex myself and have gay friends, and I do shrug off the stereotypes made by normal people several years ago. I see some reviewers aren't cool enough about this.

And now, I wish Itachi is just truly a lazy bum. His seriousness is what makes him fail to see the fun in life in the original series, and he fails because he's nerfed not only by illness but how he lacks in social departments. But oh well we won't be seeing this fic if Itachi wasn't made as how he was by Masashi.

Jiraiya and Itachi's death served the purpose for both Naruto and Sasuke as a fuel of growth by pain and sorrow, in the series. I'm actually curious on how you would make of these two, but maybe I can only hope since this fic is long abandoned. I want to comment and praise more to show how I'm grateful that this fic exists. Well then, again, thank you!

I Read up till here to give you a chance but the main reason I came here to read this is the tag 'Humor' as I enjoy a funny story and sadly this story has yet to make me laugh or even smile. Sorry but I'm leaving. I suppose it's a good story but Humorous it is NOT.

also (main problem), divide seems kinda artifical and forced, not natural. shame, writing was going so well in the first chapters, too.

honestly, not all kids want to impress their parents. most kids, maybe. but i know i didn't, unless it was a time when i was very young (like 2 or younger, but i think that counts more as a todler than as a kid). but otherwise, as a kid, i didn't really want or see a need to impress my parents. i was always kinda independent like that.

I'm guessing that this chapter came out in 2005 or 2006. I'm very surprised that you figured out the reason behind the massacre so easily. I will say that I was very surprised that the killer was Shushi. I mean at the time your writing this you didn't know about Obito. The whole time I thought it was Tobi but then Shushi appeared and I was so shocked

I remember relatives playing the toss the kid game with me AND my brother, but only when we were toddlers who are already jumping on our own and landing on our feet. Fun Fact: babies are born with cracks in their skulls that won't close till their heads get even bigger and finish growing, babies are SUPER FRAGILE AND NOT TO BE USED LIKE GYM EQUIPMENT!

to the reviewer below me...this was published back in 2004. the internet was still fairly new, no youtube, no facebook, no twitter. texting was barely used at all. calling someone gay wasn't, and isn't derogatory, its similar to making fun of a guy friend saying, "youre such a girl sometimes" it has nothing to do with homophobia. also back in 04 everyone used the word faggot a LOT. but no hatred, just teasing. political correctness wasn't around back then and people talked more shit...we made fun of one another back and forth in a darker type of banter than you see now...now make fun of someone and they get their feelings hurt instead of just laughing and saying some shit right back.

Ugh... I don't like how you are using "gay" as a derogatory term. There's nothing wrong with being gay. You're showing yourself as a homophobe when you use it like this in your writing. It doesn't seem like you have some sort of grand plan for why, either. I'd appreciate it if you stopped. There are many other ways you could show Itachi being cruel to his younger brother.
