They've moved bodies before, from beneath crushed cars and the rubble of battle, but never one so innocent, so small…so young. No one expects it to be Natasha who takes the death of this particular bystander so hard.

"You look different," he remarks as he sees her applying lipstick. It would be a sight that convinced him this wasn't even Natasha if she hadn't been using part of the reflective wall of their interrogation unit as a mirror.

He's not ashamed to say that he falls in love with her body first.
