fiesa chapter 3 . 3/9/2017 This was beautiful. Absolutely beautiful, well-done, well-written, perfect characterizations and funny little moments and heartbreaking sadness and trust and more. Thank you. |
readermind chapter 3 . 4/21/2015 love it :D |
KateKatieHawkeye chapter 3 . 3/17/2015 Very well :3 |
kamarooka chapter 3 . 11/5/2014 Haha I am just working my way through you'd stories because they are so awesome! I really loved the idea of levelling out, it's very realistic! I'm off to read another one now! |
RodeoTown chapter 1 . 9/25/2014 Another amazing story. I really liked the idea of 'leveling-up' after particularly difficult missions, the element of routine, and mutual understanding and trust that are par for the course for Natasha and Clint. And how different (or maybe not so different after all) their time on Long Island was. It was amazing, and a little (a lot) heartbreaking to see how these two crack each other's defenses in order to help each other. I think my heart stopped for a second there, when you mentioned birds of prey and then Clint lost it on that beach. Artfully done *tips hat* Oh, and don't let me start on the black in Natasha's ledger and the smoochie times that ensued afterwards. Excellent stuff! |
Hazelmist chapter 3 . 6/5/2014 Loved every minute of this! I wish that this was canon because this is perfect! |
books-n-cookies chapter 3 . 5/14/2014 I absolutely LOVED this entire fic, especially the last chapter. I'm so glad you wrote about what happened once they got into the car - I've always wondered where they went after that! Great job, this was definitely one of my favorite fics :) |
weemcg33 chapter 3 . 12/1/2013 This story was brilliant from start to finish. I loved them getting away from it all and using their perks of being the best SHIELD agents, to know that Fury would rather pay for the hotel than the counselling bills lol You write both characters so amazingly well that I can see and hear everything they are saying and it is beautiful. Loved the constant reference to Coulson, then mentioning that Fury didn't hold a memorial service...cause we all know he's alive! *grins widely* Thank you for another amazing story! You are truly brilliant and I can't get enough :) |
arosequartz chapter 3 . 6/2/2013 One word...beautiful, that was beautiful. Great Job. |
adara-greenleaf chapter 3 . 12/21/2012 Fabulous, fabulous, fabulous. This was so beautiful and, while I am a huge fan of smut, I am very glad this contained none. It would have been tacky otherwise, you know? If it weren't for the fact that I have to get up in four hours I would read the rest of your Avengers fics tonight. Alas, they'll just have to wait for my lunch break tomorrow. Thank you, again, for sharing, and for being such a goddamn joy to read! |
adara-greenleaf chapter 2 . 12/21/2012 The thought of them doing t'ai chi together is just...perfect. Yeah, I'd stop and watch them, too. Holy Crap! The last bit there, with him sobbing...it's a good thing tissue were at hand because I have a cold. My god...it was so powerful and SAD and I didn't want to hug him or anything childish like that, but I wanted to help. Does that make sense? I can't wait to read the next chapter...I'm so into this and your writing is just so damn good! WOW... |
adara-greenleaf chapter 1 . 12/21/2012 What else can I say except that this chapter was beautifully written. You have such a gift for description. I feel like I'm watching this play out, rather than reading it. And it's funny, too. I didn't expect it to be as funny as it was, to be honest, but I guess the banter is what makes these two who they are. I should go to bed, but I have to read chapters 2 and 3. Thanks for sharing. |
Lastavica chapter 3 . 12/17/2012 Love their verbal interaction. I LOVE BRUTAL HONESTY. I love THEM. |
Lastavica chapter 2 . 12/17/2012 Oh my gosh! I love that he's keeping watch for her! that is perfect! You write their bond of trust so AWESOMELY! I love the image of clint doing tai chi! "Clint." And there it is, the first crack. The way she says his name pounds at his defences; he's lasted less than a minute. Less than she did last night. "Hell, Tasha. I guess I thought … maybe if I run fast enough, I could outrun … it … everything. Him." Oh! So great! " You said it, you know it: Loki emptied you out, poured himself inside your head. You did not kill Phil, that was …" ! Oh that whole moment between them when he goes on attack. You write it all so well! "I mean no, Tasha. Truth is, Loki didn't just make me do what he wanted. He made me want to do it. He made me want …" How do you say to your … partner, I wanted to kill you? That each arrow he'd pointed at her during their fight on that catwalk, each thrust with the knife, each kick, had been foreplay – not only of death, but worse things? OH MY GOSH! You're killing me! GOSH! POOR Clint!awelfjadskjflghasd NO! That is just so freaking awful! OH! and comforting her from a nightmare was a sacrifice! He is so afraid of himself! OH! that was so awesome! How he told her all that! WELL DONE! That was so aweful and it really got to me. Clint's plight post-Loki is literally the most sensitive thing for me! It's so torturous. this made me cry. |
Lastavica chapter 1 . 12/17/2012 Totally started wailing out loud when he came to comfort her! as;kfjhasdkfhdskjafhhadsfjkhads OH! It was so TOUCHING! |
