Long forgotten faces and events haunt both Laura and Robbie in this tale of secrets that resurface from the depths of the past. This story takes place not long after Robbie and Laura return from New Zealand (assuming they go for 6 months). There will be romance, mystery, peril and a hot tub, all set in the stunning scenery of the North Yorkshire Coast.

First of all : thank you very much for your nice reviews. This is the first time I start a continuing story. Please be patient with me - hope you'll enjoy. Charles Carson has an unexpected visitor at the cottage and Elsie is busy at the Abbey. While he is remembering old times Elsie has to deal with new feelings that come up. Recently my brain is set on developing particular Chelsie scenes from the series, so this time I thought that I will let us through our favorite scene-the first kiss.

I think we all remember well episode 8, of season 2, when Spanish Flu strikes at Downton. We saw just a bits of Carson's illness, because the storyline was focused on Cora and Lavinia. So let's take a look inside the curtain and see how it really went, behind closed doors. How he survived the illness with Elsie's love and support.

When Mrs Hughes takes ill, Mr Carson doesn't know what could be the matter with him. He can't concentrate at work, his thoughts drift off all the time and he even delegates supper to Thomas Barrow. But it is only his duty that leads him to worry so much about her, of course. A Butler must be concerned about his staff's well-being...surely, it can't be more than that, could it?

I know that I have already written one story based on Elsie's health scare, but this plot is just to good material to leave it alone, so this time I will lead us through the scene where Charles found out that Elsie doesn't have cancer, but instead of singing (that was lovely, wasn't it?), he will react in quite different manner, which would lead to a another course of events.

In a deleted scene from the episode, Lee and Amanda reference going to a party the night before the Birol sting. They discuss how they said goodbye in a dark parking lot in her car, and express their appreciation that "her seats go way back." So, here is my interpretation of that scene.

When Lewis and Hathaway are assigned a missing person case, they also disappear. But it's too soon to formally involve the police, so Innocent and Hobson have to take up the search.

After their fish & chips dinner by the river, Lewis thinks about Laura's question. He finds himself reacting physically, and to his surprise, even fantasizing about her. But how can he learn how SHE feels about him? Lewis/Hobson; adult themes.
