Great follow up story. Really enjoyed this and May Day.

Wonderful two stories and I think a fitting end for all. I think that a third story would be lovely. Is it too much to ask?

What an amazing story. This and May Day both. You really are a great Chelsie writer. Their feelings came through loud and strong here. I can only imagine how difficult it must have been for them when Elsie first started working at the Abbey. I loved that they were finally able to discuss the past and move forward. I was so excited to see an new chapter! It ties up all loose ends, flows lovely and gives Charles and Elsie their happily ever after. It's great! But I am a bit sad that it is finished now :( Are there other saints days? (na, this is not a hint at all, why would you think such a thing?)

This was much better than the railing my imaginary Charles gave him. Poor Stevens. Stuck with Madge in a rundown inn. I can't feel too sorry for him, though. Charles and Elsie are adorable as they tease one another and I'm so very glad things have finally turned around for them and they're able to enjoy their lives together. I like the idea of Elsie wearing their rings around her neck. And now to confront the man that almost ruined their lives. Charles is a better person than I am for promising not to punch the guy. Hurry and update so I can find out what happens next. lol

Yay! Newlyweds! Honeymoon sex! How sweet and romantic and hot! It's good to see them finally realize one of their dreams and be happy. And I love the little details, the rings, the smiles, Elsie's cheekiness. And then...ta da! Big drama, but I so love it. I do agree with Elsie and I would be concerned about my husband getting up in jail too, but this needs to be done and I can't wait to read what that scum of Stevens will have to say for himself and how he'll react to seeing them together after all these years. However, I also liked the bittersweet underlying this second part, specially when Elsie compares it to the happiness that being free to just being themselves is bringing them. Can't wait to read more!
