 Author has written 53 stories for Downton Abbey, Lewis, MI-5/Spooks, The Way We Live Now, Major Crimes, and Bleak House, 2005. I have read fanfiction for years but only started writing because of the relationship that I see between Charles Carson and Elsie Hughes in Downton Abbey. I felt the need to share my vision and hopefully a few people will enjoy. My favorite romantic stories are ones of second chances at true love. Fredrick and Anne in Persuasion Miss Mattie and Thomas Holbrook in Cranford (still hoping for Dr. Harrison to come running in with a vial of penicillin just in time, forget historical accuracy) Carson/Hughes in Downton Abbey (which has currently captured my imagination and hard drive) I am congenitally unable to do sad endings in fanfic. There are enough sad endings in real life. We're all a little weird and life's a little weird, and when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall in mutual weirdness and call it Love. --Dr. Seuss.
