Awwww these too. No other couple can manage to reveal so much about their shifting relationship just by asking each other to call them by their first names.

I loved the fight and make-up but I do feel sorry for Mr Carson, things aren't going well for him at all.

How have I not read this before? Shocking my lack of attention to this fandom over the years.

This is lovely though, I still like the idea of Mrs Patmore and Mrs Hughes retiring to run a tea room. But poor Mr Carson! This conversation didn't go at all the way he thought it would.

Please be so kind and continue this story. I am longing for a happy end and I am very shure I am not the only one.

I loved this story! The ending with the vicar referring to Elsie's coat was genius. So glad they could finally be together! Thanks !

Beryl asking Charles if he was going to stay for breakfast, when he and Elsie thought they were being so stealthy sneaking him out, cracked me up!

I loved Beryl explaining to Charles why he better LOVE the applecrumb, and not say one word about an apple tart.
