Right, who am I?

My nickname, Saela, comes from the Icelandic word for luck.

I'm a twenty-one year old Belgian girl who has been reading fanfics for quite some years now, and while it has certainly helped me improve my English, I know I should do much more useful things with my time. As my extensive collection of Favorites can attest, I've read a bit too much fanfics and not enough classics. I'm trying to change that habit, but I also try to write more these days. I've had lots of ideas over the years but I never bothered writing them down. I've posted several stories, but my writing greatly depends on whether I get any positive reactions and whether people would like me to keep writing. If not, I can just keep inventing stories in my head without all the bother of typing them out ;)...

I'm a slow writer and it might take me very long to post a new chapter or a new story. I know how frustrating it is when an author just won't update or leaves something unfinished and I don't want to do that to you. However, I also know that if I don't start posting chapters of a new story before I finish it, I will abandon it because there is no one asking me to continue it. I am not planning to abandon any of the stories I am now writing, but I'm just asking for you patience and encouragement while I'm writing the following chapters.
