Author has written 18 stories for Anne of Green Gables series, Fringe, Avatar, Criminal Minds, Star Wars, Haven, Star Trek: 2009, Sherlock, Hunger Games, and Thor. Hi, I'm back! If anyone has a copy of any of my Stargate SG-1 fics (esp. The Mask of Merlin) I would really appreciate being sent a copy, as I deleted them all. Thanks! For anyone who noticed, I pulled all my stories for a while and I'm super sorry!!! But I'm back and hopefully to stay. About me: I'm from a big family born and raised in New England. I decided I wanted to be a writer in the first grade; having a strong passion for film and television, I typically envision my stories as cinematic. Obviously I have a long way to go and a lot to still learn about writing but fanfiction has proved a most useful exercising tool (plus a lot of fun!) Science fiction is my favorite genre and I prefer character-driven, psychological stories. My writing tends to veer toward romantic/poetic language (when I'm not careful to watch the tone and avoid OOC) and I'm terribly slow at posting--so you're warned! Also, I have some OCDish issues which may affect my stories at times (just so you're also warned.) Basically an obsessive worrying about what is morally right and wrong and, having a religious upbringing, I have certain beliefs about political neutrality, use of blood, and glorified violence among other things. Just to be clear, I'll never push or promote my beliefs by use of my stories, author's notes, or this site--just so that's not a concern for anyone. I'm only explaining this much because my OCD was why I pulled all my stories and it may be to blame for any future erratic behavior (but I'm on meds now, yay!) Also (and this is purely for the sake of my conscience that I'm adding this) General Author's Note--anything I post is not meant to promote violence, any kind immoral behavior, nationalism, or be offensive. Most of my stories will include content related to the fandom and may have canon circumstances that I wouldn't introduce myself, but my stories aren't intended to promote or condone immoral behavior. I really, really hope this isn't offending anyone! I don't mean to put anyone down or infringe on anyone else's beliefs/lifestyle. This note is really just to make myself comfortable and I really don't want to make anyone upset or impede their enjoyment. Sorry for that dry bit. Back to fun. :) My favorite fandoms are Criminal Minds, the Stargate franchise, Transformers, Surface, The Sentinel, Avengers/Marvel universe, The Hunger Games, etc. There are a lot of others, but those are the main ones. Two of my favorite movies (none-science fiction) and the happiest ever are Dan in Real Life and Meet the Robinsons. Labyrinth and The Neverending Story have no equals. Geeks rule my heart. :) Some of my favorite authors are Charlotte Bronte, Jane Austen, Alastair Reynolds, and Scott Westerfeld, and favorite books include You Don't Know Me by David Klass, Counterfeit Son by Elaine Mary Alphin (I can read that one again and again and again--so awesome!) Tom and Huck & Huck Fin by Mark Twain, The Giver by Lois Lowery, and The Bumblebee Flies Anyway by Robert Cormier. If anyone has recommendations, I'll take 'em! :D Universal Disclaimer: none of the fandoms or the characters therein belong to me. No copyright or trademark infringement is intended and no profit was or will be garnered from my fanfiction stories. Please don't sue me. As a final note, some of my stories have content not appropriate for all ages or that all will be comfortable with; please read warnings carefully and check ratings before reading. I always endeavor to make the content tasteful but some of it may be disturbing to some. If anything is offensive (in my stories, author's notes, or profile) please send a private message and I'll see what can be done to remedy it. Thanks bunches and I hope you enjoy!!! P.S., if anyone knows any good fantasy literary agents or has tips on how to land an agent, I would be very grateful. I've written a novel (the first in a trilogy, although that wasn't planned--I just ran long) and I've now discovered that writing the thing was in fact the easy part. I hate query letters. They are evil. Grrr! |
