Hello,

I thought that I should really update my profile considering that the last time I had written anything here...I think I was thirteen and re-reading my profile it was abundantly clear that I was no longer that person.

I haven't written anything for FanFiction in a while, it's a mixture of the fact that I'm not a huge fan of what Twilight has become and I've always loved Harry Potter more but I've been too afraid to write anything about it... It's harder to fail with something you care so deeply about.

Although I don't really plan to continue with any of the unfinished stories that are Twilight related, I leave them posted here because no matter how badly written they may be and no matter how embarrassed I am about them, there are still people who enjoy them and people who read them even now, years later.

If you have come to this page as a huge Twilight fan, I do not mean to insult you. I respect that you see something in those books or movies that I no longer do. I think that literature is wonderful because we can have differing opinions about what we read and that each person is able to take away something different.

Anyone who knows me outside in the real world will tell you I am a huge Harry Potter fan, but no one understands exactly in what way. Many people believe that I just enjoy the work of J.K but as much as that's true- if I'm honest I don't love her story lines so much as I love her characters. J.K's characters are fabulous, and I am absolutely in love with them, my favorite being Severus Snape.

I liked Harry Potter, and then I read the sixth book and I fell in love with Harry Potter. I remember where I was when I started the sixth book, I had just finished the fifth book, the ending of which had me shocked beyond belief and so I immediate picked up the sixth book. I was driving with my grandmother to Ikea and she started screaming at me because I wouldn't put the book down. By the end of the sixth book I had fallen so deeply in love with Remus and Tonks that I wanted to know more of there story. This is how I found fanfiction.

I've had many favorite pairings Tonks and Lupin were my first, and when the seventh book ended how it did I'll admit to the fact that I wore black for a week. The seventh book made me fall in love with Severus Snape but I felt cheated because just as I learned about this fantastic character and all of his depth he was taken away. I once again had a reason to turn to FanFiction.

All of my friends are aware of the fact that I adore Hermione and Snape as a couple, I get a lot of crap for this because people find it strange. I don't know why I never thought of it as strange, in the same way I loved Lupin and Tonks with their differences... they fit perfectly. It was something about Hermione and Snape and their common stubbornness and their intelligence... when I tell people I get a lot of eye rolls...

Anyways, this has become much more of a hear to heart then I had intended, but as I said the profile needed updating and I wasn't sure what to write... I'm sorry for the rambling word vomit...

Please feel free to look through my favorites I haven't looked through them in a while but any of the recently added authors I promise you- they're brilliant!
