Author has written 10 stories for Charmed, Harry Potter, and Pirates of the Caribbean. 13th May 2004 Who am I, you ask? I am the whisper in the wind, the hint of something more in the air. An idea, a notion. I drink myself to oblivion on high ideals, but lose myself in the seductive world of greys, where black and white merge and blur; where anything is possible. This is my world. My kingdom, my curse and my haven, all rolled in one. I am its queen, but also its keeper. What world is that, you ask? The world of secret, sweet fantasies my mind weaves. "To sleep, perchance to dream,"the Poet said. I may walk the earth, like so many others, but I only really live, through my dreams. I walk and I talk and I go through the motions. Another dot in the universe. But give me words and a little of your time, and I will fly you to the sun and back on the silver-tipped wings of my imagination. They say the quill is mightier than the sword, and truer words were never spoken. Cinammon "To sleep, perchance to dream.” ~ William Shakespeare "Imagination is the one weapon in the war against reality.” ~ Jules de Gaultier "It's important to remember that we all have magic inside us.” ~ J. K. Rowling “Imagination is more important than knowledge. Knowledge is limited. Imagination encircles the world.” ~ Albert Einstein “You see things as they are and ask, ‘Why?’ I dream things as they never were and ask, ‘Why not?’” ~ George Bernard Shaw (Would just like to add here, that the Bernard Shaw library at the LSE is one of my favourite places. The above quote is inscribed on the doors.) |
