Aww! No, it was not melodramatic on Hermione's part. I am melodramatic. I had a crying fit when I got to that part of the book, slamming my book on the floor and yelling "no,no,no!" This is very sweet, i'm just saddened that you decided to stick to that bit of cannon and kill him off. :( But, Alas, here I am always hoping for sequels and Snape babies. Can i just suggest a quick idea for an off-cannon sequel? The bed didn't disappear when he "died." Doesn't a wizard's magic fade after they're dead? idk, maybe I'm just imagining things. But yes!Bring him back, pleaaaaaaaaase!
