![]() Author has written 33 stories for X-Men, Touched by an Angel, G. I. Joe, Sue Thomas: FB Eye, Stargate: SG-1, Stargate: Atlantis, A-Team, Chronicles of Narnia, Doctor Who, Misc. Cartoons, and Misc. Tv Shows. Update: 2012 June: Holy Two years, Batman! Starting to post stories that have been done for a long time. Languishing on my hard drive is not the way to go. Besides, it gives me the poke I need to get this writing thing DONE! Also, I'm updating my Arc list for my Stfbeye/GIJoe Au. Crazy I know, but they were in my mind and wanted out. Just a warning: this AU gets bigger. As I finish editing and posting, I'll be crossing into several other fandoms. Again with the crazy. Hearts Arc: Blind Sided, Double Vision, Mind's Eye, Seeing Clearly (with POV insert ViewFinder), Full Circle, Chance of Rain Quartet, Coming Home, Storm, Crosshairs, Leprechaun, Bruised Hearts, My Best Friend's Wedding, Things Change. 2010: I've started a set of drabble shots (one shots, but not necessarily 100 words) using my music CD collection as prompts. First up: Switchfoot. Titled The Switchfoot Chronicles, each chapter will be titled by album with all the drabble shots prompted by song name. There is no set rhyme or reason to the genre selection so you might be reading one about John Sheppard, then one about Bobby Manning, then one about whoever! I am determined to write more this year and not be lazy and just read. Go me! Bio: One of my pet peeves (and I have several) is starting a story that doesn't get finished. As a public service, I don't start stories I haven't finished. Of which, I have at least six. Darn muse. A second pet peeve (this one is named Fredrich) is poorly imagined plots. For example: taking a well-known story and adding a fifth element. (HELLO, NARNIA WRITERS!! TALKING TO YOU!!) Jepthom, peeve number three, is atrocious grammar. I'm not talking Grandma here, people. Nothing says "I don't care about the readers or my own bad handle on the language I'm using" like typos and poor sentence structure. If you are not American English as a First Language, I grant you pardon. AE is a tough one to wrap one's brain around. The rest of you have few excuses. My advice to EVERY writer: BETA, BETA, BETA. And after that, BETA. I can't tell you what a difference it makes in how your story comes across. Have someone else read your work before you post if you know you can't spell. DON'T rely on spell check! Find an English major and make them your new best friend. My favorites list is widely varied in the theme and type of stories. I really like good crossovers. There are also quite a few comic books that I keep track of. TV shows are a fav as well. So check it out. ZAS: Zelenka Admiration Society--where Radek Zelenka gets some well-deserved attention. Mostly humorous and always friendly, come and join the fun! One of my first major crossovers features Touched By An Angel and X-men. What happens when angels meet someone who has a past as confusing as Logan's? This is an Alternate Universe for Logan, set in the TBAA universe. In Time, In Tense is a multi-chapter, multi-POV story exploring various themes about love, life and sacrifice. Sept. 11 story: One Breath: Who is there when death and destruction come? Hearts Arc featuring Sue Thomas: FBEye and GI Joe crossed over: Blind Sided, Double Vision, Mind's Eye, Seeing Clearly (with POV insert ViewFinder), Full Circle, Coming Home, Crosshairs, Bruised Hearts, Things Change. I occasionally suffer from Dr. Seuss madness. FBI ABCs, Sweet Sue and Jack--both in STFBE. Green Eggs and Sam in SG1. I do random stories and humorous quirks as well. Those are listed below. Read at your own risk. |
