Well, here I am again, and I figured it's been nearly a year, so it's probably time for me to update my whatsit. I've been fairly absent for a while now, because life got ca-ray-zy! But I'm back, and I very much intend to start posting again, once I can sit down and actually finish a story... I keep getting distracted by other things... avengers, jeremy renner, avengers, one of my two jobs, the tv show of the week, avengers...

Needless to say, the Avengers movie has a lot to do with why I'm coming back to fanfic after all this time...

Anyways, bit about me, besides my Avengers addiction. Live in Melbourne, Victoria, going to Uni, and about to start a Masters, in Archaeology. Which a lot of people find strange, considering that I love sci-fi... Well, sci-fi shows, mostly. I am the go-to-guy (well, gal) for my friends on movies and tv shows, and I was waiting for the Avengers for about four years before it came out. And somehow, it managed to surpass my wildest expectations, which is a testament to how awesome I thought the movie was...

Ok, one track mind... What do I write!

I started off in Supernatural, moved to Stargate Atlantis, did some crossovers, and then had a go to Hawaii Five-0. I fully intend to go back to ALL those fandoms, at some point, but alas, I have to go where my muse takes me, and at the moment, she looks strangely like Jeremy Renner. I write canon and AUs, though in my AUs, I will still try to stick to the personality of the show, so it could still seem like canon, I guess... I'll also stick with canon character personalities and traits, as far as it is possible within my AU... Which also means that if two people aren't shown together in a show or movie, they will not appear that way in my stories. Plus, I'm not really a shipper. I'm more of a whumper... Yeah, definitely a whumper!

(I don't really care if people are straight, gay, bisexual, or anything in between, so I promise that has nothing to do with it. But I do not get the fascination with shipping together two people who clearly are not interested in that way in each other. Oh, don't get me wrong, there are some fantastic slash stories out there, and unless it's Wincest, I'll read it, if it sounds interesting. But you won't find it in my stories.)

Wow, tangent... So, what am I writing right now??

So, there's a few stories on the go. I promised Hawaii Five-0 fans a new story once I finished doing my Honours thesis, but that was last November... To be fair, my computer crashed (three days before my thesis was due, talk about stress!) while I was writing it, and I lost that story... I've been trying to re-write it, but you know how things never sound as good the second time around, because you know what you wrote the first time sounded so much better... Yeah, I've had that problem... So, that story will get there, but it got pushed aside by other things.

I've got two Mission Impossible stories going as well. Actually, one of them is finished, and is likely to be up here soon. The other is fairly very AU, but I'm really enjoying writing it. Can anyone say... werewolves??

I've also just started a MI:4 Avengers crossover, because duh, double the Jeremy Renner. That is also turning out to be good fun, so we'll see what floats my boat day in, day out.

One of these days I'll sit down and write a story from start to finish, but until then I have to go where my stubborn, short attention spanned muse takes me.
