slumberingscribe chapter 2 . 10/3/2013 The whole concept of this fic is original and interesting. Really enjoyed the way you didn't go for the typical 'Sam in office' routine, as Dean's issues with his workplace added a lot of humour to the story, and the portrayal of the characters and their reactions to both Sam and Dean was spot on. A pleasure to read. |
rabbit keys chapter 2 . 8/19/2013 This was hilarious and amazing. I loved it! |
Jankjay chapter 2 . 7/5/2013 This was simply charming. I love that you reversed the obvious, putting Dean in the office. Great set up for comedy and you made the most of it. Thank you for sharing. |
Von chapter 1 . 4/9/2010 I'm not sure which is more awesome. The way Dean killed the spider or the way he slammed a half-empty mug on his boss' desk and said they were out of hot water. :D |
Laminamara chapter 2 . 11/8/2008 I have to say, you're one of the best authors out there. I could basically SEE them saying this stuff, their characters were so spot on. And not only in your Supernatural fanfiction, your Dark Angel fic as well. Great story! I can't even count how many times you made me laugh! :) |
Suspension chapter 1 . 4/7/2008 You *points to author* ROCK! This fic is so incredibly awesome, it made me squee multiple times (and I only read the first chapter). It's so true to the characters, I think I might shed a few tears of joy from the awesomeness. Now I'm going to bombard you with my favorite lines. Brace yourself. -“Paper Jam! I’ll paper jam you…” ROFL! Best fic opener, ever! -“I think my suit’s possessed,” Dean said, mouth full. Hahahaha I love how you kept up with the show and added Dean's insatiable appetite to the fic! Makes it that much more believable and entertaining! -“Yeah, yeah, don’t need a recap. Found anything yet so we can kill this…taxman…and I can leave this godforsaken hell hole?” Dean glanced at the small group of people who weren’t even trying to hide their shock. “No offence guys. I’m sure you find this hell hole real cozy.” LOL no offense, Dean? None taken, I'm sure ;). -“And I am serious. Seriously annoyed. They could be the bad guys, why not just chop off their heads and see if green stuff starts squirting out?” YES! DO IT! LET'S SEE! Now *that's* the way to do it! -“Wait, wait,” Dean said, hopping off the counter. “What?” “How do I make a latte?” HA! Perfect! I feel like I'm watching an episode! -But all this was nothing out of the ordinary. Were you expecting a big arrow painted in blood? That would make things a lot easier, wouldn't it Sammy? Too bad your life is one great big giant ball of COMPLICATED! -“Nothing. No, I’m okay. I don’t…smoke.” Sam looked around at the small group as they played cards between themselves. They all looked a bit unkempt and tired. “So, uh, do you always interrogate the newcomers like that?” This is PERFECT Sam. I could see every bit of this in the show. Sam gradually leading up to the main point, trying to be subtle. Very nice. -Sam automatically touched his hair, insulted and glad to hell Dean wasn’t around to hear that. LOL Dean would never let you live that down, Sammy. -“This is cold,” his boss protested. “We were out of hot water,” Dean retorted, slamming the door closed behind him. FAVORITE LINE! *dies* This was so unimaginably wonderful, thank goodness a friend of mine recommended this fic! Unfortunately my bed is calling, since I have work tomorrow. But I will finish tomorrow when I get home and let you know my thoughts on chapter two! :D |
The Silent Rumble chapter 2 . 1/11/2008 Hah. I could - *Gasp* LAUGH! This is an awesome story] |
Poaetpainter chapter 2 . 6/10/2007 lmao! I loved Dean saying the Mc Donalds bit and Sam's hair comment! |
Fa chapter 2 . 4/2/2007 LMAO! Funny! Just simply loved the killing of the spider bit. Haha. Very Dean. You had him spot on, even Sam. I know what it's like working in an office. I think the photocopier is possessed, too. It never seems to work functionally on me. I also hate filing, but that's part of the package. Hey, at least you get paid in the end. Did Dean get his paycheck? LOL! |
Sera and Tails chapter 2 . 3/17/2007 *bursts into hysterical laughter upon reading the first sentence* "Chad tilted his head, watching the forklift as it finally toppled to its side, groaning and clanging as it hit the floor. “So you didn’t know it was in reverse, ey?” Sam sighed. “I’m really sorry, guys. I don’t know how…usually I can drive these things. Really.” Oh my god...*erupts into giggles again* "And to some – some – I may give off the, you know…player vibe.” Oh Dean. I love Dean. “We trusted you, man,” Bert said, looking…dejected. “Let you in the fold. You were like a brother.” hahahahaha! Poor Bert! He even offered Sammy a joint! “It seems you have a pathological dislike of Gus.” Anger management! LMFAO. "...and leading Dean behind a giant pot plant." Haha just what the hell kind of 'company' is this anyway? "And, look, you got to try out a different career, found out that it wasn’t really for you. I think, all up, this hunt’s been one of our better.” Oh Sammy...that's terrible! :D Pencil Daggers! You get the award for most creative use of a pencil! haha! “Hey, man, you dead yet?”LOL “Bye newbie’s brother.” Ha I like Bert! This story totally made my day. I can say that my voice is officially shot from laughing so loudly and hysterically, and even though I sound like sandpaper, it was worth it! Comedic perfection! Cheers, Sera |
Sera and Tails chapter 1 . 3/17/2007 Oh my god, I've just picked myself up off of the floor, where I've been rolling in laughter for the last 10 minutes. This is glorious... My favourites (and there were MANY!): "The photocopying machine was big, but Dean had no doubt he could take it." LMAO (plus pretty much everything that followed that including pressing random buttons!) "Dean pulled at the panel door, trying to open it, not caring that he must appear like a mad man to anyone paying the slightest attention. “Hell, I’m about ready to jump out a window.” Using more force than he’d intended, the machine’s panel suddenly broke loose and came off in Dean’s hands, small screws shooting in all directions." Oh my God, how often do I wish I could beat up the photocopy machine! Dean is my hero! "Yeah, yeah, don’t need a recap. Found anything yet so we can kill this…taxman…and I can leave this godforsaken hell hole?” Dean glanced at the small group of people who weren’t even trying to hide their shock." Taxman...perfect. Hahaha! "Sam got a whiff of the smell. Okay, not a cigarette. “Explaining a lot,” he muttered." Hahaha, leave it to Sam to get stuck with the potheads. I love it! "We knew you were one of us the second you walked in. You have our hair.” *grins* "Sam’s mouth hung open a little as he turned to look at the forklift sitting there, gleaming in the dust. Waiting. “Ah, crap.” Oh hell...*rolling on the floor again* And just about everything that happens from the moment Dean impales the spider with the pen. And everything else before that and in between. Haha, which basically means the entire chapter was freaking comedic genius (and I could totally see Dean and Sam in every one of those situations!) *skipping along to the next chapter* Cheers, Sera |

Intex chapter 2 . 1/29/2007 Lol. You're endings rock! Hehe. |
Intex chapter 1 . 1/28/2007 LOL Hilarious. |
JessicaRae24 chapter 2 . 11/26/2006 LOVE THIS. :) One of the best humor SN stories I've read. Awesome job. I loved the entire angle you had going on, having Dean at the office and Sam at construction. And I just loved Dean's reaction and how he 'coped' with the office job-how he did what he wanted and didn't care what those around him, including his boss, thought: The lunch room scene, the whole Gus thing, the boss' office... All great! And Dean's outburst when Sam walked into his boss' office was just plain hilarious. I burst out laughing at that one. Who knew three words could be so funny? All in all, great job! |
