Author has written 32 stories for Gundam Wing/Sailor Moon, Yu-Gi-Oh, Rurouni Kenshin, StarTrek: Deep Space Nine, Yu Yu Hakusho, Naruto, Gundam Wing/AC, Firefly, Ronin Warriors, Stargate: SG-1, Witch Hunter Robin, Supernatural, Anime X-overs, CSI, and Gundam Seed. 09/19/10: Posted the third story in what I'm now calling my Cold Oak AU Series, called Descent. It's a Supernatural series based on All Hell Breaks Loose, Part 1. It's basically, what if the YED didn't make his move then, didn't push Sam back into the hunter life by killing Jess, but did so later when he was snatched for the Demon Kid Contest. What if Sam was put in Ava's position? That's what I was exploring with this series, and I've got at least one more story planned and partly written. Any comments are appreciated! 08/28/10: Wow. Its been a long time. Sorry folks. I've made a resolution with myself that all stories I post from here on out will at the very least have all the chapters planned out, and hopefully all written, before they go up. That's the main reason for my extended slowness. I'm wrestling with myself over whether or not to take down those stories that are not and never will be finished, since I feel bad leaving them up. Vote on my poll to submit your opinion. Some stories, like After are still being updated. A lot of others are iffy. Most I want to tear down and start all over with, which makes me feel kind of overwhelmed, since I have so many other story ideas just languishing on my hard drive or in my brain waiting to be written. Not to mention the Original story ideas I wrestle with on a daily basis. I'm trying to transition more into devoting my time to my original stuff, but I don't think fanfiction is close to being done with me yet, even if its to blow off steam. But I hope to one day make a living doing this (which would seem more attainable if I'd ever finished a multi-chaptered story) so fanfiction is arguably still on the back burner. I am attempting to finish a monster of a crossover fic that I started for NaNoWriMo last year, and several others, since I am determined to start and finish at least one chaptered fanfic before totally sidelining fanfiction, so never fear. My updates may be long and distressingly spread out, but that is still my goal. You may yet get more fic out of me. Hope I still have fans out there hoping to read my stuff, but if not, my own fault. Thank you to those still with me, and good luck with your own writing. 10/21/08: Made some profile changes based on the poll I've had posted here for, like, a year. So far only two people have voted, but it was along the same lines, so I took some stuff out. I hope for more votes though, because there's more I can take out if it's needed. Thanks, and sorry there's no updates. I'm a college Freshman now, and life is, um, let's just say it's different. But I like it, even if I'm not writing. I was looking through my stats and reviews and things and I've come to a surprising conclusion. I'm ready, emotionally and skillfully, to go back to some of my older, unfinished stories (most of them dead or dying) and revise them. Get them going again, in a good direction, and hopefully get some updates in there for you as well. I’ve started doing this already with a few of them, as their update summaries below will tell you. I’m not sure how much time this whole process will take, so don't get too excited, but know that I am actually working on them. Keep in touch, readers, and I hope you have fun in my profile (though it's not really the fun sort, err . . .) As always, reviews = love. While the 'I love this, keep writing!' ones can get on my nerves when I'm having trouble with a story, I'm happy to receive anything from that up to detailed critiques. I just like to know I have readers out there. (Which I still do, amazingly, because I've been getting notices of being added to people's favorites or alerts even when I left you all high and dry in the new material department for so long. I really love you guys!) Right, so since this is a profile I figured it was about time I got around to actually telling you something about myself. I'm brunette, I wear glasses, and I'm a girl. When I read stories I generally assume that a girl wrote them, which has absolutely no basis on anything and I only do because it's human instinct. I give you two movies in example: Exhibit A, The Matrix— Neo: Trinity? The Trinity? The one who hacked the IRS d-base? Trinity: That was a long time ago. Neo: Jesus. Trinity: What? Neo: I just thought, uh, you were a guy. Trinity: Most guys do. Exhibit B, Hackers— Kate: Why did he come to you? Dade: I got a record. I was Zero Cool. Nikon: Zero Cool? Crashed fifteen hundred and seven systems in one day? (remembering) Biggest crash in history, front page, New York Times, August 10th, 1988. I thought you was black, man! Yo, man, this is Zero Cool! Oh, shit! (Nikon is black) I like action, sci-fi, supernatural, fantasy, and intellectual/thriller movies. (I’m also a huge geek for comic book movies like Daredevil, Electra, Fantastic Four, Batman Begins, ect.) (And OMG Dark Knight, if you haven't seen that then you are so dead to me.) I'm generally the same with TV shows, but add the crime category. (I’m in love with CSI: NY and NCIS. And Numb3rs. And L&O: CI. And- well, you get the picture.) I'm athletic, and I love sports, but I also love to write. I write fanfiction, original fiction, short stories, and a lot of poetry. I have a ficwad(dot)com account, a FictionPress account, and a couple of others that I’d have to look up for you, where some of my original fiction can be found. My penname is Titan of Saturn for all of them, except ficwad, where you add underscores in place of spaces. Most of my original stuff that’s posted, unfortunately, isn’t recent. I should probably do something about that, yeah? My brand-spankin’-new LiveJournal account has sucked me in and refuses to let go. I discovered the LJ FAQs and now I’m rolling, baby. Look out! Calliste_Dawn has found her footing and is now planning to take LiveJournal by storm. If I can just figure out how the links work. For some reason, they aren't cooperating. I'm a New Yorker without the privilege of being an actual New Yorker (as in from NYC) and while I love my state and my city, I would like to move south someday. Someplace where winter is chilly but there isn’t any ice or snow– that's my kind of climate. I'm here so I can work to improve my writing by writing things I have some passion for, but without the effort of creating characters or settings. I have that down anyway; three quarters of my original work (that is, what isn’t poetry or short stories) is just character sheets and bios detailing how they fit in and connect with the story, and sometimes the setting outline. Then my story dies. So my main focus for what to work on is writing style and convention (obviously, all writers should work constantly to improve their writing) and plot creation (which I'm actually managing to slowly do and improve on). I'm also here for the feedback and to read other people's stuff. My father says I'm addicted to fanfiction. I pretty much agree. =) I am the girl kicked out of her home because I confided in my mother that I am a lesbian. I am the prostitute working the streets because nobody will hire a transsexual woman. I am the sister who holds her gay brother tight through the painful, tear-filled nights. We are the parents who buried our daughter long before her time. I am the man who died alone in the hospital because they would not let my partner of twenty-seven years into the room. I am the foster child who wakes up with nightmares of being taken away from the two fathers who are the only loving family I have ever had. I wish they could adopt me. I am one of the lucky ones, I guess. I survived the attack that left me in a coma for three weeks, and in another year I will probably be able to walk again. I am not one of the lucky ones. I killed myself just weeks before graduating high school. It was simply too much to bear. We are the couple who had the Realtor hang up on us when she found out we wanted to rent a one-bedroom for two men. I am the person who never knows which bathroom I should use if I want to avoid getting the management called on me. I am the mother who is not allowed to even visit the children I bore, nursed, and raised; the court says I am an unfit mother because I now live with another woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who found the support system grow suddenly cold and distant when they found out my abusive partner is also a woman. I am the domestic-violence survivor who has no support system to turn to because I am male. I am the father who has never hugged his son because I grew up afraid to show affection to other men. I am the home-economics teacher who always wanted to teach gym until someone told me that only lesbians do that. I am the man who died when the paramedics stopped treating me as soon as they realized their patient was transsexual. I am the person who feels guilty because I think I could be a much better person if I didn’t have to constantly deal with society hating me. I am the student who fears doing anything out of place because my high school teachers always find a reason to punish me. Sometimes there’s no reason at all. I am the man who stopped attending church; not because I don't believe, but because they closed their doors to my kind. I am the person who is afraid of telling my loving Christian parents I love another male. I am the person who has to hide what this world needs most: love. Re-post this if you believe homophobia is wrong. Please do your part to end it. Note: There used to be a warning here that I am not a writing robot and will only be updating when inspiration hits. In the wise words of my writing predecessors, I only write when I have inspiration, and I make sure I have inspiration every day. This is my goal. I thank you all for working with me on this. I would also like to add that I am always open to plot suggestions in all of my stories. Thanks. —TS |
