Author has written 83 stories for Twilight, and Librarians, 2014. A/N: What is an exclamation mark used for? Exclamation marks were originally called the "note of admiration." They are still, to this day, used to express excitement. They are also used to express surprise, astonishment, or any other such strong emotion. Any exclamatory sentence can be properly followed by an exclamation mark, to add additional emphasis. They rarely, but on occasion signified shouting or anger, this is a modern interpretation of the only use for a single exclamation mark! Okay, rant over xx Alexis Disclaimer: Twilight and its characters belong to SM, I'm just fooling about with them. No Cullen's were hurt in the making of these stories (Well maybe Edward a little and Alice too occasionally, Oh and then there's Jake, not forgetting the one where Carlisle's the baddy... Okay lots of people get hurt and I don't care. Haha) Please note: Some of my stories are my take on what coulda/woulda/shoulda, happened at certain points in the books/films, not what S. Meyer wrote or I would be her. xx I'm an avid reader. I still hold to this but lately have been trying my hand at rewriting some sections of the Twilight novels. I started just for myself and to prove again to myself I could. I just wanted Bella to have more backbone and to stop some of Edward's annoying controlling ways. Please note I'm Scottish, so although I can do the odd bit of American slang, my spelling is automatically British, sorry but to me it's colour, not color etc, it's ingrained in the old noodle from school. Also, I will automatically use British sayings if you need a translation just ask. Please note any stories I publish are not Beta'd and are proofread by Microsoft Word and Grammarly. Also, all stories are complete in themselves but, open-ended enough that I could do sequels if I wanted. It has quickly become apparent I'm a short story writer, but my chapters have increased in length since I started xx A/N: Please let me know if any recognisable traits in my stories belong to someone else, you know of specifically and I will name and give credit to them. Because without them, I would have never have started to write. Authors Notes will be short or non-existent, I don't talk just for the sake of it and I'm equally sure you don't want to hear about my boring mundane life outside of fanfiction. xx That said I have a Facebook group now. It's Theadosia57 Fanfic's & Beyond Lots over recommendations and links to other AU stories xx My main genre to read is fantasy, Terry Brooks, Robin Hobb, Tolkien etc, really because I like to get as far away from reality as possible when I'm reading, but I do have a very soft spot for:- The Sharpe series Arthurian legends (especially Merlin) Historical detective stuff (Didius Falco or Cadfael) The Mistress of the Art of Death series As much as I enjoy reading stuff here on fanfiction, at heart, I'm an old-fashioned girl and prefer the feel of holding a book and love the sensation of cracking open an unused copy. I also have a hard time parting with my favs, so I have a lot of shelves in my home groaning under the strain of my obsessions. Thanks to everyone for reading my little bits and bobs xx Alexis |
