Hello,

The characters that have caught my attention enough to write about at this time are Twilight, though I also love anime. Inuyasha and Naruto are two of my favorite.

I actually lived in Neah Bay, which is not far from Forks and lived briefly in Forks in grade school. That is why I read Twilight in the first place. I lived right on the beach of the Straights of Juan de Fuca near Rays last chance grocery. Neah Bay was a dry reservation back then so Rays was the last place to buy alcohol for the fishermen who flocked there in the summer. I worked in the resorts as a teen cleaning fish and cleaning rooms. I went to school in Clallam bay. It was between Neah Bay and Forks. There were 25 kids in my whole class and we were considered the largest class. My sister's third and fourth grade classes had to be combined because they were so small. There were less than 100 kids in the whole school grade school, middle school and high school combined.

The area is beautiful. Whales migrate in the straights every year. Wildlife is plentiful, we had plenty of fish and deer in our freezer. Otters would come right on the docks to eat fish entrails (sounds gross but otters can even make that act cute). Everyone knew everyone else and because of the small state of the school I (uncoordinated and slow me) was allowed to play every sport and be a cheerleader. Never would have happened in a bigger school. Alas my sophomore year my step father lost his job and left us there. My mother was lucky enough to get a job on the little air force base that was right outside of Neah Bay. Unfortunately it was decided me and one of my sisters should live with my real father in Hawaii and I moved to Pearl City, Hawaii. There are things I loved about living in Hawaii, the smell of plumeria's, the warm ocean at night, the very nice weather, but it was a huge culture shock. Going from a school where I was one of only five girls in my class to a class of 500 was very hard. I was very shy and a haole (name they called us for being white).

Now I still live in Washington but very far from Forks and Clallam Bay. Till this day I miss it I loved it so much. I went back recently when my grandmother died. The area has changed dramatically. The little trailer I lived in is gone. When the logging industry went down they petitioned to build a prison in the area, hoping to save the town. I never went to see the prison but it is now there. It has been logged, Weyerhaeuser replants but it's not the same. It is still a beautiful area though and I wish I could live there again.

One thing before I stop my ramblings the speeds that are described driving from Forks to Port Angeles and Seattle are ludicrous. Anyone who has lived in that area knows the roads are so curved that it would be impossible. My stepfather loved to speed, cheating on the curves and cutting them and he couldn't go faster than 45. Anyways if anyone gets a chance to visit the area Crescent lake is breathtaking, the Hoh rainforest is a sight to see, the Sol Duc hot springs are nice, Kalaloch beach is gorgeous.

As I stated I am very shy and it is hard to share at times but I have found the fans on this site to be kind so I hope you enjoy my insight on the area and I hope that my stories give you some enjoyment.
