Edward doesn’t make complete sense. Why not just go with the Volturi to begin with? Why even get the Major involved. I’m guessing he was scared to change Bella because he knew he wasn’t her mate. Up until this point he just seemed like an idiot, diabolical. Knowing Aro can read Edward’s mind makes me wonder why he would go in cahoots with him, too power hungry and thinks Bella will be his. It’s possible Aro is playing him but they can both read each other so who knows what game they’re playing with each other.
I wonder what Esme’s gift is.

Jasper needed to put Bella in her place and also let her know her childish tantrum was the reason Brita is no more. Where Bella didn’t like her I’m sure she wouldn’t be happy she was responsible for her death. She can’t just run amuck and throw tantrums in jaspers world, she is putting them all in danger.
