They ...really did fall into this trap...why...he is warlord a mastermind strategy planer of warplane way longer than naraku did try to play in them and he falls for this trick...and she really need to learn to jump in and under an attack and not run away from it , an attacker does never think someone would do this and is thrown of there game...and open for counter attack...
But I don't see what naraku plan should bring ...even when they were old have sex/rutt/mate...she would not loose her power or there would be many powerless miko. ...
And it would not make sesshomaru less powerful but more determined and powerful as he has someone to protect and she too...a truly mated pair alone in animal kingdom they defend there partner...
So a demob and a miko that was raised in a more free world would fight for each other even more strongly and would reach places not there bevor ...

And I still think some Over powered electro taser shooter and big spray bottles bug spray for spider would do a big knock out for naraku...

It is one thing to walk into a trap and knowing that there will be one ...but they seem to run a bit blind , why not hide there auras and powers and fly up over the mountain..? They would be up can see things faster will not run in a trap made for walking people. ...
And it would be a surprise kick for naraku and his minions. ...and was this guy who made this trap not killed?

sesshomaru and ah-un and Kiara can fly can carry people...

And forgot to say it a moment ago , naraku is real sick ...he seems to like making and using children for his plans ...and they seem way more terrible and bad like him as those more adult ones who try to get away from his control

Would it not have been better to bring her home after the first treatment of her by this towns Miko? So she gets help from hospital and modern medicine and treatments. Infection , wound treatment and scares prevent...

well this chapter was great though it just showed rin to be more SIMPLE MINDED than I have ever dreamed for a 12 year old... she is a midget for being so small for being 12 as for young well she isn't that young she would be getting married in 2 years... though with being as simple minded as she is it makes one wonder if any male would be interested...

I am hoping that their will be more conversations and monologue... and more action...

you do know that rin would be at least 12 by now right? 8 when Sesshomaru allowed her to follow him plus the 4 years of your story takes place equals 12 she is no longer a 4 yer old in fact Sesshomaru didn't know her when she was 4 since you age everyone else why not rinny... she is close to marrying age which in that time period would be 14...

I do like your story... though I could do without the forever baby rin and FYI rin and Souta are the same age and if Kagome is 19 like you have stated then they would have aged as well...
