Author has written 6 stories for One Piece, Naruto, and Elder Scroll series. Hello, good folk! J here, as you might be able to tell from the name. This is my hub, where I try and inform you a bit of my current projects. What? You wanted to know about me personally? Sod off. Or read the AN:s or something. I have a crocheting blog, if anyone here happens to like crocheting. I make patterns and upload them there. :3 http:/// But if you're here for story info, just scroll on ahead. (o3o) Story projects, summaries and their statuses: A Viking and her Cat: Category: One Piece Genre: Adventure, Humor, Supernatural, Card Games Status: Discontinued. A rewrite is in the works under the name Twisting Threads Summary: A not-quite-normal young woman named Embla saves her cat from an icy death and ends up in the One Piece universe. It isn't the first time she experiences such strange occurances, nor are talking cats any news flash, so she decides that, what the hell, why not? It's not like one can't afford to take a risk or two or thirty when you have pretty much every god in existence (except for Death) up to their ears in debt to you from poker games. On the other hand, they are a bunch of petty bastards... Sharp Blade, Sharp Mind: Category: One Piece Genre: Adventure, Romance, Humor Status: Adopted by Not.quite.a.pencil Summary: Really just OP, but with a female Zoro. Not Quite Human: Category: One Piece & Naruto Genre: Adventure, Fire, Humor, Pirates, Fire, more Fire Status: VERY sporadic releases. This is pretty much my Travel fic. I write this when I'm abroad and ONLY when I'm abroad, which isn't often. I have NO idea where this story will go... Summary: There are nine Bijuu. There are nine Strawhats. J is struck by inspirational lightning, and this is the result. Bijuu!Strawhats. Slight (read:pretty drastic) change in power level and (far more minor in) personality. Journey of a Lilmothiit: Category: Naruto and The Elder Scrolls Genre: Adventure, Dragons, Family, Dragons, Humor, Cheese, Dragons and more Dragons. Status: ACTIVE but slow. My main focus at this moment. In a humungous funk at the moment, but this is still my main priotity after schoolwork. I still try to write occasionally, but the engines are really rusty and occupied with these distance studies I'm doing. 3 Summary: Jiraya and Naruto finds an ancient ruin in a forest, one year into their training trip. This ruin just so happens to hold an Elder Scroll which conveniently enough transports our blond hero to Skyrim. Unconveniently enough, he is also transformed into a Lilmothiit, which Kyuubi claims innocence for, and encounters a rather bothersome Language barrier, and that's just the beginning of his problems. For Dragons are returning to the land, and if there is one thing Naruto does not do, it is standing idly by. Lifealope Saga: Category: One Piece with elements from GW2, MtG and Romantically Apocalyptic. Genre: Humor, Adventure, Trees, Pirates, Stone-mechas. Yes, you read that right. Stone. Mechas. Deal with it. Status: Unreleased. Sporadic progress. Name is preliminary. Any suggestions would be awesome. Summary: Trying my hand on one of them 'what if Luffy ate a different fruit'-stories. Was looking for one where Luffy controls plants mokuton-style the other day and found none, so I decided to do my own thing. Then I thought about the Lifealope of RA and of the Sylvari of GW2 whose lore I am still ears deep invested in, and my mind just sort of ran away with me. Wilden: Category: Naruto Genre: Adventure, Survival, Lotsa trees Status: In progress. About as steady progress as JoaL. Summary: The Governess that was initially responsible for taking care of Naruto after the Kyuubi attack decides to, in contrast to more konoha bashing fics than I can count, leave him out in the wilderness alone instead of keeping what she sees as an incredible danger to the other children around. A mother leopard, having just lost her own family, finds him and, realising their mutual loneliness, decides to protect and raise him. But humans and leopards live and mature at a very different pace... The Life and Wiles of Mirwen Lavellan: Category: Dragon Age: Inquisition Genre: Adventure, romance, humour, elveselveselves, Solas dun fucked up Status: In progress. Summary: ...I need a good summary for this. I suppose it's basically what I wish my inquisitor could have said and done during Inquisition, especially in regards to Solas. There's actually quite a lot of stuff here, I just don't know how to properly summarise it in an interesting way yet. ._. Challenges for those brave enough/has enough time Naruto: Silenced (Mute Naruto Challenge) Naruto is born a Mute, a fact that doesn't exactly deter him much as far as determination or spirit goes and he still wishes to become Hokage somehow, but it does affect several things both with and around him. Not being able to speak more or less negates his loud and boisterous personality and instead forces him to listen and observe. He becomes more patient and focused. This disability causes Sarutobi Hiruzen to act the moment he learns of it and leads to him taking a much more active hand in Naruto's upbringing. (optional, but seriously, why would you not implement this?) As Naruto grows older, (around 7) he discovers that he has a strange ability. By focusing hard enough on an object, he can make it move. He is fascinated by this ability and strives to develop it further. Rules and Guidelines: It's your choice whether Hiruzen raises Naruto himself or gives this mission to one of his most trusted Jounin, but it must be one of these. The choices are either Kakashi, Yugao or Genma, although I'm more partial to Genma, since he was one of Minato's trusted bodyguards. Hiruzen should logically discover this disability immediately as Naruto doesn't cry, even as a baby, or because of a medical check-up, which he by all means should do immediately after he finds out that the Kyuubi has been sealed within him, but ultimately, this is optional; Naruto's incapability of speech could just as well be discovered a few years later, but not later than when he is five years of age. Keep everyone's core personality as close to canon as you can afford to. Sure, Naruto will be calmer, more attentive, smarter and take after his father more than he does Kushina due to the circumstances, but he should still be the sunny, never-give-up, charismatic guy that we all know and love. Bashing is absolutely taboo. If you're dissatisfied with the canon actions and/or personality of a character, then just change them to suit your taste. It's much better penmanship that way ;) The previous rule still applies, though, so everything in moderation. No instant GodMode. I'm all for an extra-powerful Naruto, but please make his learning curve realistic relative to the actual canon Naruto universe. You want to turn him into a second Itachi? Sure, go ahead, just make sure that there should always be a reason for his improvements. Romance should not be in focus, but neither should fighting be. The purpose of the story is to see how a guy like Naruto manages without capability of speech, and how he manages to reach his goal of Hokage, despite the many problems this defect will bring forth. It should be about character development first and foremost. No romantic relationships with people over ten years his senior. Anko is fine, but she's where I draw the line. (I see her as a few years younger than Kurenai) Harems are frowned upon. Threesomes are fine, and even encouraged, because me gusta, but any larger than that and it'll start feeling shallow. Relationships are serious things, and i would prefer them not being skimmed over. Regarding the psychic powers: These psychic powers and their development will be very gradual, since Naruto has to figure out how they work on his own, from scratch. That means trial and error, and a lot of it. The abilities he will be able to develop are as follows: Telekinesis, Teleportation, Levitation and Telepathy. The telepathic ability will not allow Naruto to speak, at least not for a very, very long time, but it will allow him to send pictures, emotions and impressions directly to people's minds, both to singular targets or to everyone within a specific radius. Targeting a singular target will make the pictures more clear and the impressions much more potent. It's an issue of Accuracy vs AoE. The difference between telekinesis and levitation is that levitation only targets himself, ergo, he can fly. Eventually. The Teleportation ability is something that I was thinking he developes with the help of Genma, which is one of the main reasons I want Genma to be the one to raise Naruto. This is because Genma is one of the only people alive who knows the Hiraishin technique, if only a nerfed version, and therefore this should allow him to guide Naruto through the process. Please PM me if you feel up for the challenge. I'll try to keep in touch and would gladly oversee the process, both plot-wise and grammar-wise. |
