American history. feeling used. bad grammar (even though sometimes I may fall victim to the affliction.) being sick. blushing. the complexities of boys in general. Fandoms: Supernatural, Camp Rock, Star Trek, Glee, Sky High, School of Rock, High School Musical, Harry Potter, Metal Gear Solid, Hetalia, any random fandom I feel like visiting. I'm just going to put my disclaimer here, because I always forget to on my stories: I don't own it! Well, except for the plot. And random characters you don't recognize. Stories I'm working on: Angel to You, Devil to Me: Sky High. Started as a random one-shot, then expanded into something long and sprawling. I would like to say I'm close to finishing it, because I know there are a lot out there who really want me to, but I'm not. I've been distracted by other fandoms lately. So, New Year's Resolution: finish this story! Blind: Supernatural. This was going to be just one drabble, until the idea of a tortured, blind Dean stuck with me as all these words kept coming up on the Random Word Generator. So I've been working on it and have expanded it into a series of drabbles. One of the first things I've actually got completed before posting. Bonus Track: Camp Rock. Now, this is a story I want to do right. I don't want it to end up like Angel to You, Devil to Me, where I didn't know where it was going and ended up updating randomly and way too far apart. I want to know my entire plot before I do it. I would love to have the story complete before I post even the first chapter, but...I dunno. lol. Anyway, it would be AU. Possible summary: Six months ago, Shane Gray disappeared completely from the music scene without a word. What happens when Mitchie finds him...mowing her lawn? Will she be able to re-ignite the passion he once had for music? Cat Scratch Fever: Supernatural. So, 494dwangel wanted a birthday present where the boys adopt a cat. I don't really know 494dwangel, but the idea of this just stuck with me, and I was like, "I could write this," so I have been. So...yeah. Communication Breakdown: Supernatural. Set pre-pilot. A recount of all the holidays, anniversaries, and birthdays in the Winchester's lives, and the calls they may or may not make on those days while Sam is away at college. Inspired by Unhobbity Hobbit's "Birthday Phone Call". Friday Night: School of Rock. I haven't posted this one yet, but I'll get around to it. It's a Frummer fic, based on the song "Friday Night" by The Click Five. In the course of my rewriting, I let my writing get carried away--so now I'm going to go through and figure out where I really want this story to go. As of right now, I have it split up into like, five chapters--but only the first two are really needed. So, as I said, I'm going to go through and figure out where I want it to go. The Lost Week: Supernatural. Catalogs the moments when Sam is awake while he's possessed, in Born Under a Bad Sign. Could possibly venture into M territory, but I'm not sure if I want to yet. Mostly just a character development piece, but still working. Love Songs: Camp Rock. I was looking over the playlist I had used for my previous attempts at this story, and suddenly, I realized that I could totally make it work for Camp Rock (even though it was a total plot overhaul.) I have pretty much the entire story mapped out. Prologue up now! Now That's What I Call Christmas: Various fandoms. Possibly songfics, or just "inspired by" stuff. I have the CD, and had the idea to write a story that goes with each song. Except for "Christmas Collage" and "Merry Christmas Darling" because I don't like those ones, lol. Possible/probable fandoms would be Supernatural, Star Trek, Glee, Metal Gear Solid, Camp Rock...if anyone has any suggestions, let me know. One-Liners: Star Trek, Supernatural, possibly more fandoms. Challenge: create one-liners based on a single word the Random Word Generator gives you. Have done it for Star Trek and one may be up soon for Supernatural. Untitled: Supernatural. I've been listening to Led Zeppelin a lot lately, and God, a lot of these songs could be applied to life situations of the brothers. So I've been toying with this idea, and using the songs either as centerpieces or just incorporating them into certain one shots. I'm also debating between using every single Led Zeppelin song that I own, or just the ones that gave me this idea. So...yeah. I'm toying and working and will hopefully start this up soon. Untitled #2: Supernatural. Um...the random idea popped into my head for a future Sam and Dean to suddenly be confronted with Sam's long-lost daughter. Yeah, I know, it's been done like a million times. But I don't care. I'll be working on it anyway. I thought it was kind of a cool idea, because everyone would expect Dean to be the one with little bastards running around, not Sam. This might...actually...:cough:turn into my first wincest:cough:...maybe. I dunno. Might just be a bit of a character study of an aging Sam and Dean. Still not sure. Where Were You When the Lights Went Out: Star Trek. I had planned for this to be simply a one-shot, but then people Story Alerted it, and I was like...maybe I could write a few more chapters, about where other members of the crew were when the lights went out, and their reactions to Kirk and Spock's proclamations of love over the loudspeakers. Possibly more slashing, or just randomness. Basically, the idea is a blob of Play-Doh right now, and I will update when it looks more like...not a blob of Play-Doh.
