September 15, 2015 - I'M ALIVE!!!

So... this is the part where I start making excuses and what not for not updating recently, or at all really. But since I respect you all, and honestly feel terrible for leaving you hanging like this, I'll just come right out and say it. I haven't been updating because I'm lazy, and have hit the nasty brick wall known as writers block. I'm gonna be honest when I say that I literally had no plans for Serpent's Heart originally. I had just gotten a new laptop, and was playing around with it when I had this sudden idea for an HP fic. I typed up the prologue on the spot in about five minutes and decided to post it on a lark. I was not expecting the amount of reviews and general support it got in the three months it took me to remember it was up here.

I was so shocked by it, considering how little interest there had been in my other work, and embarrassed over forgetting about it that I typed the first chapter up then and there and gave you all an excuse about a dead computer to cover it up. I then made promises about updating once a month, which I fully intended to do btw(had a schedule written up and everything), but about two paragraphs into the second chapter I just stopped. I couldn't figure out what to write. It wasn't even a difficult section of the story, but my brain pulled an epic stop and simply wouldn't start back up. That was over a year ago, and I've pulled it out multiple times and just stared at it trying to figure it out. I honestly can't figure out what to write. Of course now that I've told you this the problem will likely go away and inspiration will smack me upside the head, cause ain't that just the way of it?

The whole point of this ramble of mine is to tell you sorry, and let you know that I will be updating, and even adding new stories. Just don't be surprised if it takes me a while. To be honest at this point you're more likely to get a new story out of me than an update. I wonder if having someone to bounce ideas off of and help me write my stories would make a difference? If anyone is interested in 'that' job, pm and let me know. Even if all you wanna do is nag at me to get off my butt and update already, that's cool. I will take any help I can get at this point.

Oh, and before I forget. I know I said in my last update that I'd wait until ch.5 to announce the official SH pairing, but since it's been so long, and the general vote is pretty obvious, I figured I'd just tell you now. The official SH main pairing will be HP/LM/SS/LV. A little gift for making you wait so long.

September 16, 2015 - Update

So like I mentioned yesterday, it seems that admitting I was having issue's with chapter two has lifted the block from my brain. I hope you all enjoyed the newest chapter, and I'll tell you now that I make no promises about the next one. I also accept any and all angry comments you wish to throw my way. I've more than earned them at this point.

Oh and ignore whatever messages you see about chapter one. I reposted it since there were several spelling and grammar errors that were driving me nuts.
