I suppose I should introduce myself, eh? Well, my name's Yuxi, and I hail from InsaneToTheFifth on deviantArt. Kasarix and Dawn are here, too; they're IcyThunder and Kasarix on this site, respectively. Alternatively, I have my own dA account (Snow-flight), but I don't check it often, and most everything I have on there is already here.

If you really must know, I'm old enough to be on this site, young enough to still have to go to school, and I live near Alfred's heart. I'm mostly on here for anime and manga, but I do like reading some classical literature as well. I've been compared to many different characters from many different fandoms, but I would describe myself as being mostly like Greece/Japan (as in both of them combined), with a bit of Canada's personality mixed in, eh? Of course, that's how I see myself; if you think differently, that's alright, too.

I'm a person who loves many anime and manga series, too many to be listed here. (Or rather, if I did, I think I may strain your eyes...) I'm especially fond of pairings. In fact, most of the fanfics I read and fave involve some sort of pairing in them. I could rant on them for hours...but to sum it up, I'm only really a fan of het and shounen-ai pairings (to an extent). I have nothing against yaoi, yuri, slash, and the like; it's just not among the things I like.

I don't have any formal experience in creative writing, to be honest...but I try my best. Frankly, I'm more used to translating Latin poetry and writing essays, but I do enjoy writing stories, even if I'm not too good at it. A bit of an explanation, though: Unless otherwise noted, all of my crack/crossover fics are collabs with my friends from ITTF. Basically, one of us would write a word or phrase and pass it on to the next person, who would do likewise...and so on and so forth. It's really funny what we can come up with, eh?

In terms of stuff that I actually write, between Magnet English, Algebra II/Trig, and Chemistry classes, as well as AP Latin, I really don't have to much time to work on anything I've already started (and, honestly, I can be pretty lazy when it comes to typing and uploading new chapters of things). Thus, updates will be very, very sporadic. I really do apologize if this sounds like I'm trying to whip up a really cheesy excuse for my laziness, but I'm being completely honest. That being said, I promise to never abandon my stories. Anything that's not marked as 'Complete' will be finished, for sure. As of now, any new series I will post will have already been (at least mostly) finished. Now let's hope I can keep up with everything...

One noteworthy part of my account, I believe, is my Favorite Stories list. I spend the majority of my free time reading (which may explain the lack of updates on my part, eh), so the list is very long and could take several days to get through. I suggest that you check it out, though; there's seriously some excellent stuff in there.

Currently, my main fandom is Hetalia: Axis Powers (or Axis Powers Hetalia if you wish). I'm obsessed with it to the point of severely confusing all my non-Hetalian friends with all the references I make. (I also come very close to nearly fangirl-squealing whenever I look at my story/profile traffic, eh.) I like GerIta, Spamano, DenNor, USUK, AusHun, and USCan and SwitzLiech as sibling love (not incest)...but my all-time favorites are Giripan and PruCan! (But, for some reason, I'll also read FrUk if it's well-written...) But, um, yeah. Best leave it at this before I go into a full-scale rant. I really am looking forward to taking AP European History next year~
