I'm quickly discovering that reading your stories leaves me with a smile on my face :)

Once again you did a brilliant job of giving us a heart-warming, slightly angsty, perfectly believable glimpse into the Elric brothers daily lives. Al's constant worry for the risks Ed takes on his behalf was tangible, even though he (and we) understand why Ed puts his brother's life above his own.

I did chuckle that Ed could manage to, in Al's words, 'nearly break his neck' just doing research in a library! Al's frustrated comment about him being too stubborn to ask for help was of course spot on, and I think Ed really needed to hear the rest of Al's worry-driven rant because the emotion behind it clearly made him actually stop and think for once about the fact Al wants to protect him just as much as he wants to protect Al, and what it would be like for his brother if he got himself killed trying too hard to restore Al's body.

In fact I loved that part, the way Al made it so clear that being 'normal' again would mean nothing to him if he lost his brother in the process.

The ending was perfect, Al's joy at the thought of a whole day to themselves just relaxing and having fun really leapt off the page and it was nice to see Ed lighten up enough to behave like the child he actually is.

A really terrific story.

It was a perfect excuse, because Mustang would naturally assume just like Al that they were going to study and look for the Philosopher Stone again. Double-foolery! :D

Sad but sweet. Seeing Al snap was interesting.

FMA usually uses a different metaphor for fishing than what Al thinks his brother means at first, but it's the same basic idea. Love it, as usual.

Cute ending. It's nice to read about Al's POV once in a while.

Amazing work with this story. It's about time Al got those feelings off his chest. After Ed has yet another near-death experience it's only natural for Al to explode. The apology scene is nicely done and very much in character. Also good work with the cute and unexpected ending.

This is by far the BEST story I've ever read in ff.n. It really gave me a deeper understanding of Ed and Al's relationship. Their love for one another was clearly tangible here. The grammar is flawless and I loved the words you used. You also maintained the characteristics of them. Overall, this was excellent. Well done! Keep up the good work! This was really a powerful one-shot. It's nice to see someone do some more Al prospective. I've seen a lot of Ed fanfic. and we all know he feels guilty but I like to see what Al thinks as well.

I really loved the part where Ed almost took a nose dive off the book shelf. That should have been cannon somewhere. :)

It ended sweetly as well. Now ,you got to know, I'm off to see that opening you loosely based it off.
