This made me grin. A lot. Ugh, a rooster has to be the worst kind of alarm clock imaginable. And then to combine being the normal early morning grumpy with the crappy-ness of, well, missing two entire flippin' limbs... Needless to say, poor Ed. Apparently, Alphonse's tolerance and sympathy for animals doesn't extend to the point of distressing his brother...and that's as it should be.

Aww! This was just Win! And here probably hasn't been a more epic battle since Al fought off Kimblee and Pride with a Philosophers Stone.

Buck is funny. It's amazing how much characterization was given to a mere rooster. The ending makes me want to cheer for Al.

This managed to be both funny and heartwarming at the same time. Good job.

The best kind of things I like to see from EdWin are a hurt/comfort/friendship centric, with a little hint of romance, do you know what I mean? How you do it and the plotline/setting is entirely up to you, but I'd love to see an EdWin nonetheless! _ Thanks for your time! :D

That was sweet and angsty as well as hilarious! I can just picture Ed swearing and throwing Al's shoes out the window! That's just perfect. I like the way it was written too, beginning in media res and then going back over the past. Love the caring Al has for Ed at the end.

Awww. This was both hilarious and sweet by turns. And, I loved every bit of it. Ed at war with a rooster is hilarious. As is the mental image of everything Ed might have thrown at Buck.

Hilarious! (Well, sad but hilarious.) Having had a few battles of will with cats, I know that Al is destined to fail. Our furry and feathered friends are quite accomplished in certain areas.
