I started writing as a creative outlet because I have to write rather dull technical reports for my work. I’ve been so touched by how kind people have been and it has been such a wonderful opportunity to connect with people - both readers and writers - who share the same passion for TSOM.

There are so many reasons why I love the film. For me it is about the best in human nature – love, courage, honour, integrity, morality, set in the backdrop of one of the darkest periods in human history. It shows that goodness can flourish, even in a small way in the face of hatred and evil.

It seems strange, but the magic of the film has helped me get through some difficult periods in life – stressful work situations, heartache and despair – and come through them feeling positive and inspired.

At some point I may pluck up the courage to branch into other fandoms, (I’m a big Jane Eyre fan for example) but for the moment TSOM remains too close to my heart.

To share some small details about me – I have a son and daughter, a much older stepdaughter and a husband who has made me laugh, most days, for the last 20 years.
