Very cool. I didn't expect to find any "Pianist" fics on but you have pleasantly surprised me. :) This is an elegant little drabble, and you describe Szpilman's emaciation very well. I particularly liked how you brought in Wilm's family. The inclusion of that family photo when he sat at his desk was really interesting. I was just thinking how horrible it would be for his family to know that he died somewhere in some Siberian labor camp... *sighs*
