Reviews for Forbidden Thoughts
Clare chapter 9 . 5/3
A fab fic! Super writing! It's like The Sound of Music if it wasn't a family musical, a more adult version. I love that the Captain is so drawn to Maria and that he can't resist touching her and saying everything that's in his head when he's around her. It's like an instinctive reaction with him and Maria is reacting to that. She can't seem to resist him either. I love the emotional turmoil they both go through trying to stay away from each other, for obvious reasons, but it doesn't work and in the end they talk and get their happy ending :)

bloomandgrow chapter 9 . 5/16/2018
I love how you wove this scene of Georg and maria finding each other - picking their way through the maze of confusion, repressed feelings, misunderstandings and heartache. Then the relief and exhilaration of finally giving way to their love and passion.
And the 'telling the children' part was adorable.

This story is a masterpiece. I absolutely loved it.
bloomandgrow chapter 8 . 5/16/2018
lots of heart wrenching angst in this chapter with Georg so uncertain about Maria, but completely undone by his feelings for her.
I loved Frau Schmidt's kindness and wisdom as she advised Georg. It's wonderful that you have given her shades of the Reverend Mother in this story.
bloomandgrow chapter 7 . 5/16/2018
Oh my, it was so telling when Maria rushed towards fearing he had been injured. I loved how unravelled Georg became when Maria was touching him to check for broken glass. It was a very intense moment of underlying chemistry.
bloomandgrow chapter 6 . 5/16/2018
What a sweet present for Louisa. It shows how much Georg has changed towards the children that he spent so much time looking for the perfect gift. How heartwarming.

And then the volcanic sexual tension between the exploding into those passionate kisses. Wonderful.
bloomandgrow chapter 5 . 5/15/2018
I loved the passionate, intense dreams filled with yearning, then poor Georg practically having an anxiety attack as he remembered fragments of the dreams while sitting with Elsa. You have built up the tension so amazingly well. I can't wait to see what happens when he goes back to see Maria.
Love, love love this story!
bloomandgrow chapter 4 . 5/15/2018
I can't tell you how much i adore this story. My heart is pounding with all the wonderful finely wrought tension between Maria and Georg. I can just feel their anguish and desperation to be together. The writing is exquisite.
I have to admire the Captains' honour and strength in doing the right thing and walking away, but at the same time I want him to run back and sweep Maria up in his arms and give in to the temptation.
Brilliant story.
bloomandgrow chapter 3 . 5/15/2018
Oh my goodness. Your writing is magnificent. You capture the sizzling tension between, bringing every moment and detail to vivid life. I could picture it all so well. The temptation is torturing both of them and I absolutely love it.
bloomandgrow chapter 2 . 5/15/2018
Oh this brilliant. I am starting to feel sorry for poor tortured, tormented Georg, unable to keep his eyes off his governess. I loved how transfixed he was staring at Maria and her sensuous pleasure while she ate her meal. Then that lame excuse why he was staring at her gave me such a giggle.
And then Maria staring at him eating the cookies. My heart was in my throat - would he take that step...?
No wonder he had his head in hands afterwards.
I am loving this.
bloomandgrow chapter 1 . 5/15/2018
Oh my, (fanning self) this was so delicious - in more ways than one! Georg wanting to lick the cookie batter from Maria's mouth and saying he would definitely like a taste while staring at her mouth. Phew. That was gorgeous.
leah chapter 6 . 9/11/2017
I feel her. *sighs*
