Author has written 7 stories for Percy Jackson and the Olympians, Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's, Harry Potter, League of Legends, Marvel, Fairy Tail, RWBY, and My Hero Academia/僕のヒーローアカデミア. Hi, this is my profile. Name: Centurion Africanus Gender: guy Species: human Age: somewhere in a kind of schooling Favorite non fanfic activities: League of Legends, listening to music, reading, Neverwinter, Fallout, Pokemon, writing Favorite animal: Dragon Favorite real animal: still gonna say dragon Chosen superpower: adaptation/ healing factor with toughening additions each healing, kinda like what Ban from the seven deadly sins manga goes through in Purgatory. Chosen pet: mini drake, or a pangolin Favorite bands: The list had grown too long. I'll listen to anything from time to time. Except country music or music from musicals. Favorite genre of everything: strong leading character with strong morals, some form of magic and mystery, and action, lots of action. So I don't know anyone who actually reads profiles, but I made a real one(kinda) for the hell of it. If I'm taking forever to update, I usually come up with a lame excuse and slap it on here so you guys can laugh at my attempt at excuses. Top 3 Favorite Fanfictions of all time 1. Traveler. If you have not read this and like Pokemon, read this immediately. Its a masterpiece of character development, story line, and fight scenes evenly spaced, without any main character OPAF, over emphasis on shipping, or logic jumps. I stop everything I'm doing and read every new chapter at least twice whenever they come out. 2. Lightning Dragon's Roar. Despite the title, actually a Harry Potter fic with multiple crossovers. Characters are incredibly relate-able, not OP, and the dialogue is sounds like genuine human interaction in the modern era. It also makes me laugh no matter how many times I read it. 3. Drifting. I almost wish this was canon for Naruto instead of actual canon. Despite the power scaling in the Naruto world that really doesn't translate to the title of ninja, the fights all require elements of skill, not just stupid amounts of power like how canon ended. The characters are well developed and this is the only harem fic that actually is realistic in even the slightest sense. On both Naruto's side and the girl's. Naruto himself is also a much more human character than canon, a lot less tragic hero figure. My Pokemon Team Scrafty Roserade Magmortar Lucario Mandibuzz Togedemaru 5/15/20 Wow, time certainly flies, and the days in quarantine are blending together. So I decided to jot out a quick update for those who read profiles. First up, I hope everyone is staying safe and not endangering lives during this Corona virus. I know staying inside sucks and can be boring, but unless you need to go buy supplies, just focus on taking care of your safety. Read some fanfics and maybe write your own. As for my stories, well, yeah. Light and Dark and Hunters of Fate are basically dead. Like I've stated before, my original laptop died with all my notes for those and I never really got back to them. I hated Blood of Olympus and how the series ended, and that kinda killed both stories. Duel Shadows is a personal project for me, in memory of a friend, so it'll update whenever I get the feels enough to write a chapter. The fandom is so small I don't feel pressure to write for it like other stories. Legends of Remnant never really got off the ground, nor did I really plan for it too much, more of a throw the idea on the site and see what happens. I'm probably going to wait until the end of RWBY before trying another story from there. Izuku SMASH! and Trickster Extraordinaire both have chapters in the works, as well as motivation to write, so expect some updates. SMASH is rolling no problem, but I am having to do a lot of careful editing for Trickster because of how constructed Harry's character is. So those chapters will be considerably slower. And now for the big one. Magical Sense. I'm going to be honest here. I never actually finished Fairy Tail. I watched through Natsu beating Sting and Rogue in the GMG, but I never started watching the 2014 anime or the final arc. I roughly know what happens, but not enough to feel truly comfortable writing for it. There's also the large amount of complaints for how I ended the arc in the HP universe. I honestly had a plan, it just didn't make it down on the page because I was caught up in my success and was trying just to post quickly, not well. Now when I try to go back and clean up the problems, I just can't find it in me to change them. I might change them some day, but for now, I'm going to leave them as they are, as a reminder to myself as a writer to write well and how I want to, not just for attention. I'm trying to finish the story, but it's probably going to take me going back and watching the rest of the series, so while it will be finished one day, I'm not sure when that will be. And it sucks, for me as a writer and for all the many fans. Last thing I'm going to say is that I started writing a book. Not a fanfiction story, but a completely original work. It's been a dream of mine for years to become a writer and I started writing fanfiction as a way to practice my writing, and if you look at my writing, I think it shows. So updates might be slower in general because my primary focus is going to be on my original story. So happy reading to all -Centurion Africanus |
