The previous protagonists could see it, Star could see it, everyone can see it. Yugi and Jaden did their job, and now it's your turn to do the same and save the world.

I take it they're more like the occasional guide (or just pops in once and awhile to make sure Yusei, Star, and the other signers manage to get on the right track to their destiny.)

I always wondered what it'd be like if Yusei had a spirit partner (I mean he technically had the crimson dragon, even though he didn't show himself like Yami, Astral, Yubel, Ai, and Yuya's counterparts did, but still) this should be good.

Well, considering that Yusei summoned Shooting Quasar Dragon by tuning all the signer dragons together, I love the thing about it being a god _

The characters kinda talk and think in metaphors and such a little more then people really DO? and generally, your are telling rather then showing in this chapter more then necessary. Though i do admit i still enjoyed the chapter

So... Yliaster will be good guys, huh? Interesting. Will Aporia be whole in this story, or would he have split into Jakob, Lester and Primo (for once, the dub's version of a character's name is actually better, in my opinion)? Also will Z-ONE make an appearance, or will he just be mentioned only? I'm sure that if he does make an appearance, even if it's a flashback, unlike in the anime, this Z-ONE would actually be Yusei from a different time set in the future, instead of a doppelganger.

I would probably need a bit of catching up to do, or, I guess in this case, reacquaint myself with the parents sub plot. If I remember correctly, Jack's parents have the American names, Crow's parents' names are based on birds, and Yusei's parents' names are Japanese. Yoko is dead b/c of the attack made by Kalin (I wouldn't want to be him when Yusei is told), and apparently, Jack's mother and Crow's father have also passed, but I don't recall, or remember how, exactly... Maybe they are still alive, and a part of another "Order" that hasn't made itself known just yet...

As for the parts pertaining to Yusei and Aki, the back and forth banter, if you could call it that was so sweet and cute that I thought I would be puking rainbows and glitter (XD lol). Kidding aside, it was good to see them opening up towards each other more now. And the scenes depicting Star's and Thorn's brief evolution and transformation was cool; very powerful imagery.

I'm not at all surprised that Shooting Quasar is also a God, or God-like. Haldor (out of curiosity, will the Aesir Gods make an appearance too?) had once said that Majestic Star Dragon was an embodiment/reincarnation of the Crimson Dragon, so it doesn't surprise me that Shooting Quasar would be any less. It is after all a "synchronized" form of all of the Signer Dragons.

Also, will we be seeing more evolutions and transformations of the Signer Dragons? For instance, if you include Stardust's warrior and dragon counterparts from the manga as well as the assault mode version from the OVA, and its Delta Accel Synchro form from Antimony's/Bruno's timeline, then Stardust Dragon has a total of 11 different forms. Red Dragon Archfiend has just as many, if not more, if you include its manga counterparts and its ARC-V variations. That's... a lot to choose from...

Sorry for the rant. Once started, unless I get everything I want across, there's no stopping it.

As usual, you never fail to impress me with the use of the history of the Crimson Dragon and behind the birthmarks. Seriously, reading it all felt like a history lesson and I was the sponge to soak it up. I’m a huge history nerd, so seeing this all being explained just brought that out and I couldn’t stop reading through it. I thought the idea of Shooting Quasar Dragon being “immortal” and god-like in a sense was very intriguing. It’s even more interesting considering how Stardust’s evolutions looking similar to it’s original appearance.

Aw Harris, looks like you’re not so bad after all. Despite being upset he wasn’t destined to be a a Signer, he still helps out. Hopefully, he learns to loosen up later on. How Shooting Quasar Dragon said to Yusei was perfect: “shadows cannot hide in your light, and that is why people are drawn to you”. Yusei, because of his namesake, does connect people and honestly, that’s one of the reasons I deeply enjoyed the anime. Not only was it because of friendship, but his heavy belief in others. You’ve done a spectacular job adding that in. How long was Yusei standing there and being in contact with Shooting Quasar Dragon though? My feet’d be aching lol. Junk Warrior and Phoenixian Cluster Amaryllis was a nice touch. I didn’t expect they’d be spirits, but I can see it makes sense with how the story is being presented.

I also love how you described the temple and the spirits, the “old previous signers” as you would say, watching them with saddened eyes. I mean, they are children, children who shouldn’t be involved in this, especially for Yusei and Aki who have experienced a lot in their lives. I can’t wait to see how Professor Anderson and the rest of his class reacts to seeing additional spirits besides them lol. Bruno and Paradox was a nice send off to the chapter. I initially thought it was Z-One (he is eventually going to appear in the story right?), but Paradox was great though. I can’t wait to read how they plan to save the Signers. Is the plan going to be similar to how they did it in the anime? Because if it is, then boy, do the Signers have their work cut out for them.

The parents’ reunification was heartwarming to read. Poor Hasake being reminded of his deceased wife, Yoko, but hopefully John and Robin will help him recover better.

You didn’t fail to disappoint me with this chapter. Looking forward to more!

So glad that Star and Thorn got their second form. I also love the fact that you made Shooting Quasar Dragón a God because he is very powerful both in the anime and tcg.

I can’t wait for the signer dragons to get new forms. I also like Yusei’s many forms of Stardust Dragon. I am also very happy to see Yusei and Aki getting closer, which makes sense because Yusei was the only one who actually cared about her and didn’t think she was a monster. Looking forward to Hakase and John’s reunión as I hope it will be very emotional.

Now we’re moving into Savior Star Dragon (plus the many other forms of Stardust lmao) territory. Yusei’s evolutions of Stardust is always my favorite and it’s entertaining to watch. Currently, I’m re-watching 5D’s again, only this time it’s the sub. I just wanted to see how different it was from the dub, which isn’t that bad as most people say, yet I can agree with them on some parts. I’m still disappointed the dub wasn’t finished though.

On the other hand, I gotta say, you’re doing a bang up job with the personalities and characterizations of every character, new and old. I’m not sure of whether Julia is a character from GX (it’s been a while since I’ve watched it) or not, but she seems to be someone I may enjoy reading about. Can I just hug Yusei please? The pitying looks can definitely get to you, so I feel for him. It’s a good thing Aki is there to stand by him~ Don’t mess with Yusei or you’ll feel her thorn-whip filled wrath lol.

They’re in the Spirit Realm? Considering the show didn’t even go that far with that concept (in Luna/Ruka’s case), which was so underused, you’ve peaked my interest. I can hardly wait to see how you handle that and going to the village who worships the Crimson Dragon is a great start. Lol, the elder telling Harris off, I love her! I’m assuming Harris is likely going to be an asset to Yusei and co. later on? It would be fun - and good for the plot to move along- to read. In most cases, the smug hotshot always ends up being a good guy (thinks of Manjoume/Chazz). The bit where the marks glow up in response to the elder was a nice touch: “yes, I’m a Signer, believe me now?” I’m also looking forward to seeing how the Shadow Soul, Quaking Soul and Glowing Soul are done. Does that mean those dragons - Black Feather, Red Demons, Ancient Fairy and Life Stream - may have evolutions?

Hakase and John meet up next chapter? I can’t see that going well, since Jack is, well, hot-tempered, yet very strong-willed and I pity for Hakase, but at the same time, I can’t wait to see old friends catch up and (hopefully) go over their children’s photos (like Maes Hughes did in FMA lol). Not saying it’ll happen, but it’d be cute. I also hope that Yusei, Crow and Jack meet their remaining parent(s) soon! A lot of tears will be shed from me when you reach that point. You’ve done a fantastic job so far and this is starting to become even more interesting, I pity your laptop’s state though, so sorry to hear that! I’m willing to wait for the next update when you’re able to put it out.

Also, my favorite story out of the ones I favorited if yours is Lasting Moments. Update that one first please, I’ve been dying for another chapter of that one. :)
